deeper analysis:
there is an obvious celebrity class
some of them are attention whores, with paid publicists pushing themselves into the spotlight at all costs, sometimes for the most ludicrous things (madonna, chrissy tiegen, katy perry, etc.)
others, however, seem to try to avoid the limelight, whose profession might be actor or musician but apparently not doing it for fame, per se (think clint eastwood might be one of these)
when someone reaches advanced old age with all of the physical characteristics of it, whether celebrity or not, they do not want to be in the spotlight to have these signs of rapid decline highlighted
makes me think of raquel welch, who recently passed
there were paparazzi filming her, an infirmed 83 yr old women, going to get a manicure
