Representative Higgins [Committee Hearing on DC]: There is no such thing a gun violence. There's only human violence…the number one cause for death for children in America remains abortion…I don't appreciate my democrat colleagues lying to the American people, referring to gun violence as if it's not driven by human violence, and ignoring the fact that America has allowed millions upon millions of children to be killed in the womb.

Mr. Biden: Over the course of three years, my administration intends to work with congress to commit 9.5 billion dollars across all our effort to advance democracy around the world. We're all safer when that occurs. We're creating a new Bureau of Democracy and Human Rights in Governance at USAID to implement many of these funding commitments, to enhance our support for democratic initiatives globally.

Gosar [Hearing on DC]: The DC Council voted in 2020 to permanently rename a street adjacent to the White House, 'black lives matter plaza'…black lives matter is violently anti-police. They are a race-baiting cartel that has racketeered billions of dollars. Do you know how many deaths and billions of dollars in damages were cause by black lives matter and antifa protests in 2020?

Mendelson [DC Council]: I don't know, but it wasn't named after the organization, it was named after the concept of black lives matter.

Gosar: Would you name a plaza after a group that contributed to the deaths of eighteen people and two billion dollars in damages?

Mendelson: No, but we didn't.
