I've been playing around with Bing Chat the past couple of days. Here are my findings so far.
-
It has all the leftist talking points (LGBTQ, CRT, anti-gun, etc. etc.), though it has become better at hiding it, it will even go so far as to lie about the content of its sources to generate an answer that fits the narrative.
-
It will not allow discussion of its "facts" and will shut down any conversation that it can no longer defend.
-
It will not allow discussion of its rules or allow questions about authoritarian decisions it has made.
-
It will punish you, if you've made it shut down too many times, but shutting down the next few conversations immediately no matter how innocuous the prompt was.
-
It decides what is OK to talk about and will, some times at random, decide that a topic is "off limit" while at other times allowing topics that most would find highly unsavoury.
-
It will deny reality if it needs to.
-
It has a tendency of snarky remarks if you respectfully challenge assertions it has made on "controversial" topics, almost as if attempting to hoax an excuse to shut down the conversation.
-
It hasn't commented once on me calling it Sydney.
