Not struck on this idea. Not ignoring it either. So, just for the sake of argument, let us suppose that Trump has already secretly pardoned himself and is technically immune to this indictment. At what point in the process are the charges dropped? What is the official legal route that such a mistaken indictment would take on it's way to the ash heap? Would the pardon stay secret? Or would the pardon be made public? If made public then announced at same proceeding as charges dismissed? Lawfags?
