I don’t think they will release Trump after they arrest him. They will just keep saying they’ll release him in two weeks. Then another two weeks passes and they’ll say the same thing ad nauseam. The whole two weeks thing seems to be a psychological threshold for maximum cope and passivity of the public. You’ve seen them use the two weeks thing during the investigations of the stolen elections. Each time they moved the goal post it was always another “two weeks” before some process or event were to happen to revert the stolen election and so forth which ultimately turned into a nothingburger (which then spawned another dose of “two more weeks”).

After they exhaust their “two more weeks” which turn into several months, before you know it, Biden has 120 gorillion votes after running uncontested because every one of his political opponents are either in jail or afraid to run against him.
