Anon has been puzzling over something related to Bible understanding and people groups. This has to do with Ashkenazi and Sephardic groups, ostensibly both "Jews".
Anon has a New King James Version of the Bible called "The Scofield Study Bible" Oxford University Press New York copyright 1982 by Thomas Nelson, Inc.
I didn't actually get to my question, but seems like its not as hard as I was making it. Anon is trying to figure out what "Synagogue of Satan" is.
To this anon it appears there are Jews who do things like follow the Torah. Grew up and went to college with some like this. Even lived together on campus so they could keep dishes separate for milk products and meat. Then there seem to be people like Epstein who are monsters but perhaps perceived as secular or atheist "Jews".
After some contemplation anon has seen this with other groups too. Ordinary Catholics seem often to believe in God and Jesus, then there are priests who abuse their role to do evil.
The reference to "Synagogue of Satan" is in the Book of Revelation (Rev 2: 8-11).
However, this passage seems oddly related to modern characteristics of what we are going through now.
