Swedish right prepares for power as PM accepts election defeat
https://www.reuters.com/world/europe/swedish-pm-andersson-concedes-election-right-bloc-prepares-power-2022-09-14/
STOCKHOLM, Sept 14 (Reuters) - The head of Sweden's Moderate Party, Ulf Kristersson, said on Wednesday he would begin the work of forming a new government after Prime Minster Magdalena Andersson conceded her Social Democrats had lost the weekend's general election. The Moderates, Sweden Democrats, Christian Democrats and Liberals appear set to get 176 seats in the 349-seat parliament to the centre-left's 173 seats, according to the latest figures from the election authority. A handful of votes remain to be counted, but the result is unlikely to change significantly. "I will now start the work of forming a new government that can get things done," Kristersson said in a video on his Instagram account. The election marks a watershed in Swedish politics with the anti-immigration Sweden Democrats, a party with roots in the white supremacist fringe, on the threshold of gaining influence over government policy. The success of the party, which took over from Kristersson's Moderates as the country's second biggest, has raised fears that Sweden's tolerant and inclusive politics are a thing of the past. However, their mantra that Sweden's ills - particularly gang crime - are a result of decades of overgenerous immigration policies have hit home with many voters. Kristersson said he would build a government "for all of Sweden and all citizens". "There is a big frustration in society, a fear of the violence, concern about the economy, the world is very uncertain and the political polarisation has become far too big also in Sweden," he said. "Therefore my message is that I want to unite, not divide." Though Kristersson's party is smaller, Sweden Democrat leader Jimmie Akesson cannot get the broad backing from the right needed to oust the Social Democrats. Kristersson is likely to try and form a government with the Christian Democrats and rely on support in parliament from the Sweden Democrats and Liberals. Prime Minister Andersson accepted defeat, but warned that many Swedes were worried about the Sweden Democrats' election success. "I see your concern and I share it", she said.
The Sweden Democrats aim to make Sweden the European Union's toughest on immigration policy including legislation making it possible to deny people seeking asylum based on religious or LGBTQ grounds.
Marin concedes defeat
https://www.bbc.com/news/world-europe-65157357
Finnish conservative leader Petteri Orpo has won a nail-biting three-way election race, defeating Prime Minister Sanna Marin's centre left. "We got the biggest mandate," said the leader of the National Coalition Party, after a dramatic night in which the lead gradually swung away from Ms Marin's Social Democrats. Mr Orpo was heading for 20.7% of the vote, ahead of the right-wing populist Finns Party and the centre left. It is a bitter defeat for Ms Marin. Shortly after the conservative leader claimed victory, she conceded the election. For weeks the election had been seen as a three-way race, but as results came in, it became too close to call, until a projection from public broadcaster YLE gave Petteri Orpo's National Coalition victory with the biggest number of seats in parliament.
The defeated prime minister
Finns Party leader Riikka Purra congratulated her rival and was overjoyed to have secured the best result in her party's history. She was heading for 20.1% of the vote, while Ms Marin's Social Democrats were on course for 19.9%, with 97% of the results counted. Sanna Marin became the world's youngest leader when she burst on to the political scene in 2019. She headed a coalition of five parties, all led by women. Now 37, she has steered Finland to within days of Nato membership, having won plaudits for her country's response to neighbouring Russia's full-scale invasion. Her poll ratings are still high, but the election was largely fought on Finland's public debt as all the mainstream parties backed Nato membership. Many Finns see her as a polarising figure. She came under heavy scrutiny last year when a video emerged of her singing, dancing and drinking at a party. Supporters said the controversy was steeped in sexism and women across Finland and the world shared videos of themselves dancing in solidarity.
The conservatives will have the first opportunity in forming a government. Finland's system of proportional representation requires a coalition to muster more than 100 seats in the 200-seat parliament to run the country.
Conservatives have gained control of both Finland and Sweden (Denmark could fall to conservatives in 2024) for the first time ever.
Soros was using Bragg and the threat of indictment to drive Trump poll numbers down. This grand jury con was supposed to go on through July but Bragg did something he wasn't supposed to do. He actually indicted Trump? Who controls Bragg?
Alvin Bragg was elected with campaign donations from over 2000 different Dem campaigns across the country.

Why Did Fox Bury Mike Judge’s IDIOCRACY?
https://www.cartoonbrew.com/old-brew/why-did-fox-bury-mike-judges-idiocracy-2203.html
One of the biggest film mysteries of 2006 still remains unanswered: Why did Fox bury the release of IDIOCRACY, the new live-action film by KING OF THE HILL and BEAVIS AND BUTT-HEAD creator Mike Judge? Today’s LA TIMES has an op-ed piece by Patt Morrison about this topic, though it doesn’t really offer much in the way of answers. I’m surprised that the LA TIMES didn’t treat this as a news story and interview people like Judge to get to the bottom of the story. A Fox spokesman says in the piece that the film was always planned as a “limited release” but limited releases rarely (if ever) get treated this poorly, especially for a well-reviewed film from an established filmmaker like Judge. I’m more inclined to agree with the line of reasoning presented by the TIMES’s Morrison:
Did Judge’s film, by sheer happenstance, mirror Rupert Murdoch’s blueprint for a Fox-fed nation of fat, dumb and happy? Is the problem a threatened lawsuit over the way “Idiocracy” treats corporate America? Starbucks in 2505 serves speedy sex acts with the coffee, and Carl’s Jr. and H&R Block get the same rough handling. But that’s why studios have lawyers, and that’s why we have the 1st Amendment.
Perhaps it’s been cast out of distribution Eden for the same reason that Newsweek made “Losing Afghanistan” its cover story last week in every country except the United States. We got a cover story about a celebrity photographer….And that would be because Americans are being mollycoddled and infantilized. If we’re not getting the truth – even delivered via satire – it might be because leaders think we can’t take it, or they may be afraid of what we might do if we did get it. President Bush dismissed leaked intelligence reports critical of the Iraq war because they could “create confusion in the minds of the American people.” Goodness no; don’t confuse us with information.
Both O'Keefe and Paul Sperry are ALL over the fraudulent election of Alvin Bragg.
