There is no limit really Trial is scheduled for jan of 24 a month before the first primary debates.
Even if congress calls him in for an explaination, I do not think they have the authority to ask him about this trial and he could just say its a state matter nonya. This case if it was any other time would take at least a month to hear and then the jurors could take howerver long after. Then you have sentencing and appeals and all of that I am pretty sure he will be convicted though. It has to be that way. The only thing I can see is it gets thrown on on the face of it due to a motion or something. But I think this will go all the way through.
