Private-sector job growth slowed more than expected in March
Payroll firm ADP reports private employers hired 145,000 workers vs 210,000 expected.
That was down from the revised 261,000 in February
Annual pay +6.9% in March vs +7.2% in February
Largest gains:
-Leisure and hospitality +98,000 workers
-Trade, transportation, and utilities +56,000
-Construction +53,000
-Natural resources and mining +47,000
-Education services +17,000.
Largest losses:
-Financial activities -51,000
-Professional and business services -46,000
-Manufacturing -30,000
