DA Alvin Bragg's office has deleted the "Meet Our Team" page, including the profile of chief assistant district attorney Meg Reiss, ahead of the arraignment.
The Manhattan DA Alvin Bragg's website has deleted its "Meet Our Team" page, including the profile of chief assistant district attorney Meg Reiss, ahead of the arraignment.
The bio for Chief Assistant District Attorney Reiss was removed.
Reiss was brought into Bragg's office in January 2022, subscribes to Critical Race Theory ideas, and believes in soft-on-crime reforms to the criminal justice system.
According to Fox News: "Reiss created the Institute for Innovation on Prosecution in 2016 at John Jay College, which collaborates with prosecution offices, including the Manhattan DA, to bring about racial equity reforms rooted in critical race theory ideology. She left in 2018, and was listed as a leader in numerous reports relating to their agenda.
"The institute believes in an ideologically driven approach to prosecution that takes into account historical factors. For example, the Institute argued in a report, signed with Reiss' name, that prosecutors must focus on 'acknowledging our nation’s shameful history of slavery and racism which continues to cloud the criminal justice system.'"
Jordan Stockdale, Chief of Staff for Bragg, wiped his Twitter account ahead of the arraignment.
It is clear that Bragg's office does not want to give opponents to this political prosecution of Donald Trump the opportunity to dig into the social media of those who are leading the charge against him.
This is ahead of Former President Donald Trump's scheduled appearance in a New York criminal court today, following his indictment by a grand jury last week.
Police are preparing for possible protests outside the courthouse.
After his court appearance, Trump plans to fly back to Florida for a speech tonight. His team says that news of the indictment has already helped him raise $7 million in fundraising for his 2024 presidential campaign.

Since his indictment last week, a new Rasmussen poll shows former President Donald Trump has taken a strong lead over Joe Biden in the race for president.
On Feb. 15, the Rasmussen poll had Biden leading Trump by 45% to 42%.

But in a survey conducted April 2 and 3, immediately after the announcement of the former president’s indictment but before his arraignment Tuesday, Trump took a big lead of 47% against Biden’s 40%.
"This is a 10-point net gain for Donald Trump," political strategist and Trump adviser Dick Morris told Newsmax. “Former President Trump has completely turned around the 2024 race for president.”
Other polling released this weekend by Trump pollster John McLaughlin showed the indictment had given Trump a boost with 51% of GOP voters supporting him over Ron DeSantis at 21% — a lead of 30 points.
The Rasmussen poll is the first indication of a major Trump gain in a potential general election matchup against Biden.

Poll: Trump Enjoys 43-Point Swing His Way Among Texas Republicans Since November
The majority of Texas Republicans want to see former President Donald Trump as their 2024 presidential nominee, according to a poll.
The CWS Research poll, conducted for the Defend Texas Liberty PAC, shows that 52 percent of likely GOP primary voters in the Lone Star State support Trump for the nomination. He sits a whopping 32 percentage points ahead of his closest potential competitor, Gov. Ron Desantis (R-FL), who has 20 percent. A portion of the poll was conducted after a New York grand jury indicted Trump last week on 34 counts of falsifying business records in the first degree.

Trump has enjoyed a net 43-point swing his way since November, according to previous CWS polls shared by the @IAPolls2022 Twitter account. In November, DeSantis led Trump by a margin of 43 percent to 32 percent. Trump took a one-point lead in January before surging in subsequent months to his now commanding advantage.
In the current survey, five percent of respondents say they would back former Vice President Mike Pence, placing him third place, followed by former South Carolina Gov. Nikki Haley with four percent of support.

Sen. Ted Cruz (R-TX) holds three percent of support, while anti-woke entrepreneur Vivek Ramaswamy and former Secretary of State Mike Pompeo tie at two percent. One percent of participants plan to vote for Sen. Tim Scott (R-SC), who has reportedly inched closer to a White House bid.
Respondents were also asked how they felt Trump’s indictment would impact his 2024 presidential candidate. A majority of 60 percent say the indictment “will help his campaign,” and only 18 percent predicted it would hurt his candidacy.
CWS Research sampled 1067 likely 2024 GOP primary voters in Texas between March 30-April 2. The margin of error is plus or minus three percentage points.
The survey comes on the heels of numerous national polls that indicate more than 50 percent of the GOP electorate back Trump.

As much as I can enjoy a day like Tuesday, where the Radical Left Lunatics, Maniacs, and Perverts had me Indicted and ARRESTED for no reason whatsoever, there was no Crime, it was an unbelievable experience, perhaps the Best Day in History for somebody who had just suffered Unjustifiable Indictment! My Poll Numbers have never been better, almost $10 Million was raised for the Campaign and, the day was capped off with a very important Speech. If we don’t stop the Radical Left, America is DEAD!
