from what those who chose to return have told anon, the imprint remains, although 'stains' might be inaccurate? As in, in Heaven nothing's negative.
anon's curious about the slate clearing; have heard people assert "I'm an old soul" etc; and many of the NDEs I've witnessed, they remember a lot of previous "movies" they've been in.

the forgetting happens when we incarnate here, but the higher self what's in control still knows, like anon knows what's about to happen when replaying GTA San Andreas, etc. But if anon hasn't gotten to a particular point after a tricky series of maneuvers, then anon might mess up at the controls, and have to start again (or at least, from the kekpoint).
