All we need to do is pump our own fuel/gas/coal but that's the entire point and fight about climate change. Climate change has been re-defined like so many other words to stop us from doing it ourselves and not have to buy oil from Russia or anyone else which is what they have been afraid of. That environmental hegelian angle has been largely the Saudi Arabians but CCP is another one. As soon as dipstick got in there, they stopped the pipelines and the pumping and digging and they went right back to business buying Russian oil even when their were sanctions and a war with Ukraine.
There was someone who posted a video recently here. This guy was talking about how electricity isn't anything new. Cars scooters trains, everything electric has already been done before and that we have just been going around in circles thinking we are progressing. The entire time being kept down.
