Anon calls it the "comply or die" culture in modern policing. Officers are so insulated from the consequences of their own actions that they natively just become monsters.

Remove immunity and require escalated criminal prosecution for anyone who violates their oath of office or allows anyone else to for promotion or personal gain.

Even higher levels of punishment for Attorneys and Judges.

If we are to clean out this system, it must be through legal and transparent means. Lots of justice system members need to be in prison. LOTS.

So even if Trump gets back in, short of aliens coming down and zapping all evildoers in one fell swoop, or Jesus returning and the angels dividing the good from the bad, we don't get a good society back, we're still slaves to all the collaborators in the "just-us" system.

Anon respects the thought process. That would, in fact, remove a LOT of bad actors.

Anon doesn't understand how that would tackle the widespread and rampant local corruption. Maybe the town mayor is just a dishonest turd who is pushing people around through the law to make money. That might not show anything on a background check because they don't have criminal charges because they, and the judges in the town all agree that nobody in their little buddies club gets prosecuted. Of course the DA's are complicit, because who doesn't want to have unearned power that isn't restrained by strict rules and consequences.
