BREAKING: America First Legal Releases Second Set of Joe Biden’s Vice Presidential Records from Lawsuit Against the National Archive

WASHINGTON, D.C. – Today, America First Legal (AFL) released the second production of records obtained through its lawsuit against the National Archives and Records Administration (NARA) from Joe Biden’s time as Vice President in the Obama Administration regarding Hunter Biden and his corrupt foreign business dealings.

This second set of documents confirms there was effectively no daylight between Joe Biden and Hunter Biden, who coordinated through their most-trusted associates in response to the controversial stories regarding the Biden family’s business dealings in Ukraine. The evidence from these documents is that:

1. Then-Vice President Biden personally signed off on the statement given in response to reporters about whether Hunter’s appointment to Burisma undermines the Vice President’s credibility in pushing anti-corruption measures in the country;

1. The Office of the Vice President connected reporters writing about Hunter’s appointment to Burisma to Amos Hochstein, a trusted Biden advisor who was then the “point person” for International Energy Affairs at the U.S. Department of State, to provide a “unique and valuable perspective” on the relationships in Ukraine;

1. The Office of the Vice President coordinated closely with Rosemont Seneca Advisors in response to press inquiries, including inquiries regarding Hunter Biden’s alleged Ashley Madison Account; and

1. U.S. Ambassador to Ukraine, Marie Marie L. Yovanovitch, reported–to the Department of State’s Victoria Nuland, Anna Makanju in Vice President Biden’s Office, and the National Security Counsel’s Eric Ciaramella (famously the “whistleblower” in the first impeachment proceeding against former President Trump)–that “[t]his time there are accusations that Burisma allegedly had a subsidiary dump natural gas as a way to pay bribes” and “[m]entions that Hunter Biden and former Polish President Kwasniewski are on the Burisma board.”

Vice President Biden personally signed off on an official press statement about Hunter Biden.

Despite Joe Biden’s assertions that he had zero involvement with Hunter’s appointment to Burisma, he personally signed off on the official statement in response to questions from reporters about whether Hunter’s position with Burisma undermines the Vice President’s credibility in pushing anti-corruption measures in the country.

Joe Biden Lectures Ukraine

The only applause Vice President Joseph Biden Jr. got while he addressed the Ukrainian Parliament on Tuesday was when he berated Russia. That's not hard: Russia's venality - the seizure of Crimea and the support for separatists in eastern Ukraine - is a strong unifying force in Ukrainian politics.

By contrast, Mr.Biden's ardent talkof the need to put an end toUkraine's ubiquitous corruptionand the power of its oligarchs was met with stony silence.

Mr. Biden was right to upbraid Russia and topledge an extra $190 millionin aid to Ukraine. And as a Western leader who hasmade Ukraine his special project, he was also right to warn Ukrainian legislators to waste no more time in rooting out corruption. Though the European Union is likely to renew sanctions against Russia again in January, its patience with Ukraine is being tested by thelack of critical reforms. In his address, Mr. Biden specifically called for an overhaul of the office of the prosecutor general, changes in the energy sector, transparency about official sources of income and other reforms.

Russia's actions are no excuse for the failure of democratically elected Ukrainian leaders to crack down on corruption. About50 magnates currently own about 85 percentof Ukraine's gross domestic product, according to the Jamestown Foundation's Eurasia Daily Monitor. Many politicians and judges are holdovers from previous governments, mouthing a new line but living by old rules and blocking serious reform measures.

Taking on a so well entrenched system is a huge challenge. A measure of President Petro Poroshenko's weakness against these forces was his having to import foreigners for key jobs, including Mikheil Saakashvili, the former president of Georgia, to be governor of Odessa and David Sakvarelidze, a former Georgian prosecutor, to be Ukraine's deputy prosecutor general.

Sadly, thecredibility of Mr. Biden's messagemay beunderminedby the association ofhis son with a Ukrainian natural gascompany, Burisma Holdings, which is owned by a former government official suspected of corrupt practices. A spokesman for the son, Hunter Biden, argues that he joined the board of Burisma to strengthen its corporate governance. That may be so. But Burisma's owner, Mykola Zlochevsky, has been under investigation in Britain and in Ukraine. It should be plain to Hunter Biden that any connection with a Ukrainian oligarch damages his father's efforts to help Ukraine.This is not a board he should be sitting on.

Dalai Lama speaks out after bizarre video showed him asking to kiss boy’s tongue

The Dalai Lama has apologized after a video emerged of the Tibetan spiritual leader kissing an Indian boy on the lips — and asking him to “suck my tongue.”

He was taking questions in February from an audience in Dharamsala, the Indian town where he lives in exile, when the child asked the Nobel Prize winner, “Can I hug you?”

The Dalai Lama invited him onto the stage and pointed to his cheek, prompting the boy to give him a hug and a kiss, CNN reported.

The 87-year-old then pointed to his lips, and said: “Then I think finally here also.”

He then pulled the unidentified boy’s chin and kissed him on the mouth, adding: “And suck my tongue.”

As they pressed their foreheads together, the boy poked his tongue out before moving away — but the Dalai Lama pulled him in for another hug.

“Now, you should look [to] those good human beings who create peace [and] happiness,” the Dalai Lama said. “[You] should not follow those human beings who [are] always killing other people.”

The audience reacted to the awkward scene at his temple in McLeod Ganj with laughter and applause as the Dali Lama appeared to also tickle the child.

“This video is scandalous,” Colombian journalist Vicky Dávila said on Twitter.

“The Dalai Lama kisses a boy who approaches him on the mouth. The attendees applaud and laugh instead of condemning this aberration.”

The leader’s Twitter account, which has 19 million followers, said Monday:

“A video clip has been circulating that shows a recent meeting when a young boy asked his Holiness the Dalai Lama if he could give him a hug.

“His Holiness wishes to apologize to the boy and his family, as well as his many friends across the world, for the hurt his words may have caused,” the statement said.

“His Holiness often teases people he meets in an innocent and playful way, even in public and before cameras,” it added. (Bullshit, why does he travel with a group of little boys?)

The exiled leader was at an event with the M3M Foundation, the philanthropic arm of Indian real estate company M3M Group, which is based in Dharamshala, CNN reported.

The network has reached out to the foundation for comment.

The Delhi-based child rights group Haq: Center for Child Rights told CNN that it condemns “all form of child abuse,” adding that “some news refers to Tibetan culture about showing tongue, but this video is certainly not about any cultural expression and even if it is, such cultural expressions are not acceptable.”

The octogenarian, who fled to India in 1959 after a failed uprising against Chinese rule in Tibet, is regarded by Beijing as a dangerous separatist.

He has worked for decades to draw global support for linguistic and cultural autonomy in his homeland while living in Dharamshala.

The Dalai Lama has sparked controversy before, including during a 2019 interview with the BBC in which he said that if a female Dalai Lama should succeed him, she “should be more attractive.” He later apologized for the comment.

The year before, he suggested that Europe should be reserved for Europeans while discussing the rising level of African refugees entering the continent.

“The whole Europe (will) eventually become Muslim country? Impossible. Or African country? Also impossible,” he said, CNN reported, adding that it’s better to “keep Europe for Europeans.”

RFK Jr.’s ‘disgusted’ family unlikely to support his bid for president

With his just-declared bid for the US presidency, Robert F. Kennedy Jr. sees himself at the forefront of “a new revolution to resurrect American democracy” — but the anti-vaccination crusader will likely have his work cut out for him in convincing Democrats and even members of his own family to vote for him in 2024.

“Most of the Kennedys are disgusted with his attitude,” said Kennedy family biographer Laurence Leamer, referring to Robert’s recent anti-vaccination activism. “They still care about him, but he’s an embarrassment.”

Robert, 69, filed paperwork to run for president with the Federal Election Commission last week. He plans to formally announce his bid to take on President Joe Biden in a Democratic primary at a hotel in Boston on April 19, according to his Team Kennedy campaign. (Biden told the “Today” show Monday that “I plan on running” in 2024.)

The environmental lawyer and author has earned the disapproval of many of his Kennedy relatives for hiscontroversial viewson vaccines and his attacks on former White House medical chief Anthony Fauci, as well as his embrace of his father’s convicted assassin, Sirhan Sirhan

Robert has said Sirhan did not actually participate in the murder of Robert Kennedy Sr. during a Los Angeles presidential campaign stop in 1968.

Robert’s uncle, John F. Kennedy, was also assassinated in Dallas in 1963. “After more than 50 years in prison, the state’s own psychiatrists and the parole board deem that Sirhan poses no threat to society,” Robert wrote in a 2021 opinion piece for the San Francisco Chronicle, urging California governor Gavin Newsom to grant Sirhan, 79, parole

Leamer told The Post Thursday that the rapprochement with Sirhan particularly grated on his relatives, including six of his siblings and his 94-year-old mother, Ethel Kennedy, who said in 2021 that she does not want the convicted killer released from prison.

In a 2019 opinion column for Politico, Robert’s siblings Kathleen Kennedy Townsend and Joseph P. Kennedy II, along with his niece Maeve Kennedy McKean,denounced his crusade against vaccinations.

Robert, the bestselling author of “The Real Anthony Fauci: Bill Gates, Big Pharma, and the Global War on Democracy and Public Health,” is the chair and chief legal counsel of the Georgia-based Children’s Health Defense, a non-profit that campaigns against vaccines for children.

“Robert F. Kennedy Jr. — Joe and Kathleen’s brother and Maeve’s uncle — is part of this campaign to attack the institutions committed to reducing the tragedy of preventable infectious diseases,” they wrote. “He has helped to spread dangerous misinformation over social media and is complicit in sowing distrust of the science behind vaccines.”

Even actress Cheryl Hines, Robert’s third wife, has distanced herself from his vaccine extremism after he invoked Nazi Germany in a speech against vaccines at the Lincoln Memorial last year. In it, he implied that those who oppose vaccines are being persecuted more severely than Anne Frank, the German teen who hid from the Nazis in Amsterdam before being sent to her death at Auschwitz.

“My husband’s reference to Anne Frank at a mandate rally in DC was reprehensible and insensitive,” Hines tweeted. “The atrocities that millions endured during the Holocaust should never be compared to anyone or anything. His opinions are not a reflection of my own.” Robert later apologized for the reference.However, Hines does apparently support his presidential run.

“I’m thinking about it, and I’ve passed the biggest hurdle, which is my wife has green-lighted it,” Robert said during a speech in New Hampshire last month, when he first spoke of running for the top office. Actress Cheryl Hines, who stars in “Curb Your Enthusiasm,” is RFK Jr.’s third wife — and has publicly lashed out at him over his vaccine extremism.

Kennedy has also been enmeshed in other scandals that are likely to resurface during his presidential run. In 2013, The Post revealed that he kept a “sex diary” in which he chronicled his affairs with numerous women while married to second wife, Mary Richardson Kennedy, who committed suicide in 2012. But with Robert’s presidential bid and anti-vaccination advocacy, Leamer said that “he’s found a new life for himself” — even if it’s separate from his famously liberal family.

“American Resurrection,” Robert’s Substack website, is devoted to advancing “my lifelong battle against the corrupt merger between state and corporate power that has subverted America’s once exemplary democracy,” he writes.

“Do the Democrats really want Robert F. Kennedy Jr. in this race?” said Leamer. “The whole thing is just troubling for Democrats.”

Kentucky Gov Andy Beshear lost two ‘close friends’ in Louisville shooting, as witnesses describe carnage

An emotional Kentucky Gov. Andy Beshear has revealed two of his “close friends” were among the four victims gunned down in Monday’s Louisville bank shooting.

The Democratic Gov. said another friend was also among the eight injured when a lone gunman stormed into the Old National Bank in the city’s downtown area and opened fire at around 8.30 a.m.

“This is awful. I have a very close friend that didn’t make it today. And I have another close friend who didn’t either,” a tearful Beshear said at a press conference.

“And another who’s at the hospital who I hope is going to make it through.”

Police haven’t yet released the identities of the slain or injured victims.

Louisville Metro Police Department Deputy Chief Paul Humphrey said two of the injured were cops who were hurt when officers engaged in a shootout with the gunman just moments after arriving on the scene.

One of those officers was in a critical condition and undergoing surgery at the University of Louisville Hospital as of Monday morning, Humphrey said.

Beshear heaped praise on the responding officers in the wake of the shooting.

“I want to thank them, and all of our other law enforcement officers, for responding and doing their best to try and save some of my friends and many others,” Beshear said.

The gunman, who also hasn’t been publicly identified, was killed in the ordeal.

“We believe this is a lone gunman involved in this that did have a connection to the bank,” Humphrey said. “We’re trying to establish what that connection was to the business, but it appears he was a previous employee.”

In the aftermath of the tragedy, survivors recalled seeing the gunman firing off several shots with a “long assault rifle” on the first floor of the bank’s building.

“He just started firing,” one witness told WHAS11. “I didn’t see his face. We were in the conference room. Whoever was next to me got shot, their blood’s on me.”

Another witness said he ran for his life as soon as the gunfire erupted.

“We have a break room. I got in there, shut the door for a second, and then I was looking around opening the door to see where he was at, and I could see him still shooting,” the man told WHAS-TV.

‘Squad’ member Jamaal Bowman hit with ethics complaint over TikTok use

Far-left Bronx and Westchester Rep. Jamaal Bowman has flouted House ethics rules by making political statements on his congressionalTikTok account and using official resources to make posts on his campaignTikTok account, according to a complaint filed Monday by a government watchdog.

The Foundation for Accountability and Civic Trust argued in a letter to the Office of Congressional Ethics that Bowman had crossed a line by recording TikTok videos from inside the US Capitol building and in his congressional office.

Bowman, 47, also shared a messagecalling for the impeachment of Supreme Court Justice Clarence Thomasfrom his official account —another alleged ethics violation. The accounts — @jamaalbowmanny and @repbowman — identify Bowman as the representative for New York’s 16th Congressional District, with the latter account racking up more than 200,000 followers.

“The laws and ethics rulesprohibiting Members from using official resourcesfor political purposes are clear and longstanding,” FACT Executive Director Kendra Arnold said in a statement. “Not only do these ethics rules protect taxpayer funds, but they also protect the integrity of the government and maintain citizens’ trust.

“Anytime a Member does not comply with these laws it is troubling and should concern citizens. The OCE must move swiftly to investigate and enforce these bright-line standards and apply the requisite penalty.”

Bowman’s office did not immediately respond to a request for comment.

Federal law requires House members to strictly separate campaign and official activities and bars campaigning with the use of official resources — such as government buildings, websites and social media profiles.

“The laws at issue in this case protect taxpayer-funded resources from abuse and theft and strict enforcement addresses the public’s concerns that incumbents wrongfully use government funds to run for re-election,” FACT complained to chief House ethics counsel Omar Ashmawy.

In her group’s letter to OCE, Arnold also noted Bowman maintains a TikTok account despite US government concerns that the Chinese-owned social media company could be harvesting more than 100 million American users’ data. The FBI and FCC have warned that Beijing-based ByteDance Ltd, which owns TikTok, could share US users’ biometric information, browsing history and location with the Chinese government.

The White House and House of Representatives have since demanded TikTok be removed from all official government devices over espionage concerns. Arnold in her letter suggested that ethics investigators check whether Bowman has installed TikTok on any of his government devices.

More than30 membersof Congress —almost all of whom are Democrats— have TikTok accounts. Some Democratic lawmakers like Bowman have also pushed back against federal bans of TikTok, along with many younger US adults. Just 39% of Americans between the ages of 18 and 29 support such bans, according to a March CBS News/YouGov poll.

“Republicans ain’t got no swag,” Bowman said during a press conference last month outside the Capitol. “That’s why they want to ban TikTok. And I mention that in the context of engaging young people in the democratic process.” He also referred to federal efforts toban the app as “racist towards China.”

Bowman is the third House Democrat to be hit with an ethics complaint over the use of Tiktok, along with fellow “Squad” Rep. Ilhan Omar (D-Minn.) and Rep. Wiley Nickel (D-NC).

President Joe Biden said Monday he intends on running for reelection in 2024 but he is not ready to make a formal announcement about his plans.

"I plan on running, Al, but we’re not prepared to announce it yet," Biden told NBC-TV "Today" show co-host Al Roker.

Biden, 80, has said in private conversations that he is "definitely running," but he does not plan on launching his campaign until this summer, according to CNN.

The president may face difficulties being reelected, however.

A CNN poll last week foundless than one-thirdof respondents said the the Democrat president deserved to be reelected.

Biden may not even have the support of his own party. Minnesota Democrat Rep. Dean Phillips recently said that"literally hundreds"of fellow Democratic members of Congress areweary about Bidenbeing their 2024 presidential nominee. (A 100 millions of conservatives are not just weary, it's a Hell NO!)

Currently, the only Democrats to have officially announced their 2024 presidential campaigns are Robert F. Kennedy, Jr. and Marianne Williamson.
