Biden to dump another $5BILLION of taxpayer cash into developing NEW COVID vaccines and drugs — as part of White House's new 'Project Next Gen'

The White House plans to devote $5billion to develop effective treatments and vaccines against current and future Covid variants.

'Project Next Gen' is expected to be launched in the near future as a sequel to the Trump Administration's 'Operation Warp Speed'.

The goal is to develop a 'Pan-Coronavirus' vaccine, and treatments that will be able to withstand future threats from the family of viruses that includes Covid, SARS and MERS.

There has been a growing sense among experts and officials that the current crop of treatments and vaccines have steadily lost their effectiveness and new ones are needed.
