I absolutely agree that Mary is a model of devotion.
That fact does not make her worthy of being held in higher esteem than anyone else.
Or prayed to.
The Scriptures make it clear, that there is but ONE intercessor between God and man, the man, Christ Jesus.
Why would anyone of us want a fallen human being interceding for us, when we have access to the Son directly?
