If you spend much time on the board, have been following Q awhile, have a decent eye for detail re: text editing and always check notables for a flavor of how they're chosen and described, then there's nothing to lose by following the instructions and doing a practice bake on /comms/. Just start there.
Night shift is comfy, and when you're ready to step up, Night baker is helpful and Emergency baker is a safety net so you can't burn the place down accidentally. Even the saltiest anons understand there's a learning curve to baking, they don't bust your balls too bad. May even throw you a rare pepe.
