also: as a rule in photographs, you never know what details in a photograph will later on seem very meaningful.

so stuff gets put in a drawer, so to speak, and forgotten about.

and years later the picture provide all kinds of Historical details that back when it was taken no one even figured anyone would ever care about.

like if you want to document the total neglect in a state for the power poles, you just look at photos from street view and notice 'huh, in this state they never seem to do pole transfers.' they just let it rot.

but who would think when they are taking pictures of everything along the highway that these details woudl basically be evidence of neglect, criminal neglect, by utility managers?
