I agree with boomeranging the narrative right back on them. Your idea is excellent, and I've been pounding on the existence of our own existing poor that are hurt first and foremost by high level immigration. Every image of US poor children that we can place in front of them will serve as a reminder for all the needs that already exist and that are going unmet.

Is high level immigration that results in competition for school resources, social safety net resources, health resources, entry level jobs, higher education scholarship or government assistant resources helpful for our own existing poor? The honest answer is, of course not.
