Discord Leaks: China to Provide Russia With Lethal Aid in Ukraine War

While the US drifts along under the ‘leadership’ of an elderly man with severe cognitive decline, China has been filling the void in international relations in a rapid pace.

For Washington, among the most concerning aspects of these newfound Chinese international ambitions is the support for Russians in the Ukraine war.

Now, the Discord Leak papers show that CCP has secretly decided to provide weapons for Russia.

The Washington Post reports:

“China approved ‘provision of lethal aid’ to Russia in its war in Ukraine earlier this year and planned to disguise military equipment as civilian items, according to a U.S. intercept of Russian intelligence revealed in leaked secret documents.

The intercept, apparently obtained through U.S. eavesdropping on Russia’s Foreign Intelligence Service (SVR), was included in a top-secret summary, dated Feb. 23, of recent Ukraine- and Russia-related ‘products’ compiled by the Office of the Director of National Intelligence.”

Collected from ‘signals intelligence’, the ODNI report states that “China’s Central Military Commission had ‘approved the incremental provision’ of weapons and wanted it kept secret.”

Off the records, a senior administration official told WaPo: “We have not seen evidence that China has transferred weapons or provided lethal assistance to Russia. But we remain concerned and are continuing to monitor closely.”

In another, more widely circulated batch of Discord files, a document states that the Chinese consider a major Ukrainian attack within Russia using U.S. or NATO weapons “as indicative that Washington was directly responsible for escalating the conflict and possibly as further justification for China to provide Russia with lethal aid.”

The Chinese Government, while denying the allegations, have also reminded the international community that the US is providing Ukraine with military aid, therefore being in no position to criticize other nations.

But according to trade and customs data provided by ImportGenius, a customs data aggregator, China may be already supporting the Russian war effort.

“China North Industries Group Corporation Limited, one of the country’s largest state-owned defense contractors, sent the rifles in June 2022 to a Russian company called Tekhkrim that also does business with the Russian state and military. The CQ-A rifles, modeled off of the M16 but tagged as “civilian hunting rifles” in the data, have been reported to be in use by paramilitary police in China and by armed forces from the Philippines to South Sudan and Paraguay.

Russian entities also received 12 shipments of drone parts by Chinese companies and over 12 tons of Chinese body armor, routed via Turkey, in late 2022, according to the data.

In addition to drones, Russia has for months relied on other countries, including China, for navigation equipment, satellite imagery, vehicle components and other raw materials to help prop up President Vladimir Putin’s year-old war on Ukraine.”

Primary Care Providers Receive Incentives to Push the COVID-19 Vaccine

Primary care and family medicine doctors and others were given incentives to push us to receive the experimental COVID-19 shot, which has been linked to a number of very serious adverse events and side effects.

Back in 2021, healthcare providers received an increase in the Medicare payment rate for administering the COVID-19 vaccine.

“The goal of the payment boost is to “support important actions taken by providers that are designed to increase the number of vaccines they can furnish each day,” Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) said in its news release.

Payment to providers increased to $40 per dose from $28 for single-dose vaccinations. Vaccines that require two doses will now cost $80, up from $45, according to HFMA.

“These updates to the Medicare payment rate for COVID-19 vaccine administration reflect new information about the costs involved in administering the vaccine for different types of providers and suppliers, and the additional resources necessary to ensure the vaccine is administered safely and appropriately,” CMS said.

“These resources are designed to increase the number of providers that can administer the vaccine, ensure adequate payment for administering the vaccine to Medicare beneficiaries, and make it clear that no beneficiary, whether covered by private insurance, Medicare or Medicaid, should pay cost-sharing for the administration of the COVID-19 vaccine.”

All throughout 2021, US states also used incentives to push COVID-19 vaccination.

“Twenty-seven states including the District of Columbia (53%) offered at least 1 lottery, guaranteed cash payment, and/or scholarship incentive to the general public, covering 55% of the US population. Twenty-one states (41%) offered 2 or more incentive types. We identified 24 lottery programs in 23 states (45%), 19 guaranteed cash payment programs in 12 states (24%), and 23 scholarship programs in 19 states (37%),” according to research published in JAMA Network.

Twenty (83%) of 24 Democrat-led states offered at least 1 lottery, guaranteed cash payment, and/or scholarship incentive vs 7 (26%) of 27 Republican-led states. Twenty-six (96%) of the 27 states with incentives implemented at least 1 non-incentive COVID-19 mitigation policy vs 15 (63%) of the 24 non-incentive states.

The Gateway Pundit previously reported that Project Veritas released an undercover video of disadvantaged people taking excessive Covid vaccines in exchange for a tax-funded gift card incentive.

Part one of their series on New York City-contracted medical provider, DocGo/Ambulanz published whistleblower recordings, show medical staff and supervisors admitting they made mistakes when administering Covid vaccines to children.

In part two of this series, employees of DocGoAmbulnz are seen on undercover video discussing how people are getting excessive Covid vaccines in exchange for $100 gift cards.

One nurse told a potential patient: “Maybe just go and not say that you’ve been there before. Just give them a different name.”

Another RN told a Project Veritas undercover journalist to “try something somewhere else where it’s not the same company.”

In a bizarre twist, Project Veritas actually caught one of the employees claiming the extra gift cards were blank and had a zero balance: “It was in the system that the money was already removed. We’re giving out blank cards.”

Abortion pill provider asks Supreme Court to block lower court ruling blocking access to drug

The company makes Mifeprex, which is an abortion pill that blocks a hormone called progesterone that is needed for a pregnancy to continue

Apharmaceutical distributor that produces the abortion drug mifepristone, requested Friday that the Supreme Court block the recent court decision that prevents pregnant women from obtaining the pill by mail.

Danco Laboratories located in Manhattan, New York, asked the Supreme Court to block the decision made by Texas U.S. District Judge Matthew Kacsmaryk who ruled that the Food and Drug Administration (FDA) improperly rushed the approval process for the pill, violating federal standards.

Danco Laboratories argued their company would be "irreparably harmed" by this decision because it "will be unable to both conduct its business nationwide and comply with its legal obligations."

The pharmaceutical distributor makes Mifeprex, which is an abortion pill that blocks a hormone called progesterone that is needed for a pregnancy to continue.

The Biden administration has also asked the Supreme Court to intervene with the Texas judge's decision.

U.S. Attorney General Merrick Garland issued a statement in support of the FDA.

Brazil Responds to Wave of School Attacks by Censoring Social Media

Brazilian Justice Minister Flavio Dino on Wednesday announced new restrictions on social media to combat an “epidemic” of assaults on children.

Dino said website administrators will be required to ban users who “are promoting or supporting attacks or violence against schools.”

Dino said social media platforms will be required to send data on users who share violent content to the police, in addition to blocking the users. Failure to comply could be punished with fines of up to $2.4 million and noncompliant websites could be shut down by federal authorities.

“There is an emergency situation which has generated an epidemic of attacks, threats of attacks (and) panic among families and in schools,” Dino declared.

The Brazilian crackdown includes international social media platforms. On Monday, the Brazilian Justice Ministry held a meeting with representatives from Twitter, YouTube, TikTok, Google, and other companies to demand the removal of “content supporting school attacks,” a category which evidently included news reports about such incidents because they could allegedly inspire copycat attacks.

Twitter immediately refused the request, noting the 270 user accounts Brazil wanted it to ban did not post any content that violated Twitter’s terms of service, since they were sharing information about crimes but not encouraging violence.

Dino responded angrily that Twitter’s “terms of use of the platform” should not be considered more important than the lives of children. Brazilian social media users on Tuesday launched a “Twitter Supports Massacres” campaign that attracted some celebrity support.

The campaign, which features images of the Twitter bird slathered in blood while its eyes ring up dollar signs, disappeared as a trending topic on Twitter itself despite attracting over 4 million views, leading to accusations that Twitter is suppressing it.

Disgraced nuclear scientist Sam Brinton pleaded no contest to stealing luggage from an airport

Former US Energy Department nuclear waste manager Sam Brinton pleaded no contest on Wednesday to charges of stealing a woman’s suitcase from the baggage carousel at a Las Vegas airport last July, avoiding jail time with a 180-day suspended sentence.

As part of the plea deal, the felony theft charge was knocked down to a misdemeanor and Brinton, who uses ‘they/them’ pronouns, must pay $3,670 in restitution to the victim, according to court records seen by the Daily Mail.

The judge also told Brinton to “stay out of trouble,” the Daily Mail reported.

Brinton was caught on camera stealing the luggage after a woman traveling from Washington DC to Las Vegas on United Airlines told officials that the bag she had checked, containing jewelry, makeup, contact lenses, and clothing, had vanished en route.

The footage reportedly shows the nuclear scientist pull the suitcase off the baggage carousel, look at the tag, return it to the carousel and look around in all directions before grabbing it off the carousel again. Following another furtive look around, Brinton can be seen walking off with the suitcase, according to the arrest warrant issued for in December. Brinton was initially charged with grand larceny, a felony which carries a sentence of between one and ten years and a fine of as much as $10,000.

Brinton was placed on leave from the position of deputy assistant secretary for spent fuel and waste disposition at the Department of Energy after being charged with stealing another suitcase from the Minneapolis St. Paul Airport in September. That case is ongoing.

A Tanzanian fashion designer who lost her suitcase in 2018 while traveling from Houston to Washington DC posted photos last month appearing to show Brinton wearing some of the custom designs that had been in the bag on more than one occasion. After she re-reported the theft in December upon spotting her clothes on the flamboyant kink advocate, Houston police reportedly turned the case over to the FBI.

Brinton’s appointment by President Joe Biden last February was controversial even before the luggage theft allegations. The non-binary nuclear engineer has spoken at universities about the “kink” lifestyle and “pup play,” which involves sexual role-playing relationships with men pretending to be dogs.

Cuba: Police Detain, Interrogate 7-Year-Old Girl for Insufficient Revolutionary Fervor

Communist state security officials in Camagüey, Cuba, detained and interrogated seven-year-old Katherin Acosta Peña on Thursday regarding her mother, dissident Marisol Peña Cobas, who faces charges of corruption of youth for insufficiently indoctrinating Acosta into communism.

Peña — who spent a month in solitary detention after joining the July 11, 2021, anti-communist protests – revealed in late March that Cuban authorities had arrested her for the crime of “acts against the normal development of minors” because she refused to teach her daughter to love the Castro family and its figurehead president, Miguel Díaz-Canel. Peña is currently out on bail.

Her husband, José Luis Acosta Cortellán, is also an anti-communist dissident and facing criminal charges for “disobedience,” a crime often used to persecute those who disagree with the regime on the island.

The interrogation of seven-year-old Acosta Peña is the latest documented incident of state intimidation and abuse against minors. The Castro regime has increased its persecution of children, particularly girls, since the outburst of dissent in 2021. Detentions, trials, and sentencing of children to years in prison under adult legal codes has become increasingly common, as has police abuse against girls.

On Thursday, Peña livestreamed the appearance of state security agents in front of her door, demanding to take away her daughter.

“These are the things they want to do to my daughter, who can’t even sleep at night,” she narrated, asking the public to amplify the story. “A seven-year-old girl being called [to the police station] suddenly, with no notice.”

Police reportedly took away both Peña and Acosta and interrogated the child in a room separate from her mother. According to Peña, who spoke to the U.S.-based Radio Martí outlet afterward, a prosecutor, an official with the Ministry of the Interior, and a psychologist with the Ministry all interrogated the child.

7.0 magnitude earthquake hits Indonesia’s Java and Bali islands

Indonesian residents were seen panicking during the earthquake in videos that circulated social media

A strong earthquake shook parts of Indonesia’s main island of Java and tourist island of Bali on Friday, causing panic but there were no immediate reports of serious damage or casualties.

The U.S. Geological Survey said the magnitude 7.0 quake was centered 59.8 miles north of Tuban, a coastal city in East Java province, at a depth of 369 miles.

Indonesia’s Meteorology, Climatology and Geophysical Agency said there was no danger of a tsunami but warned of possible aftershocks. The agency put a preliminary magnitude at 6.6. Variations in early measurements are common.

Videos circulating on social media showed local residents and tourists in the neighboring provinces of Central Java, Yogyakarta and Bali panicking as houses and buildings swayed for several seconds. Some places ordered evacuations, sending streams of people into the streets.

The country of more than 270 million people is frequently struck by earthquakes, volcanic eruptions and tsunamis because of its location on the arc of volcanoes and fault lines in the Pacific Basin known as the "Ring of Fire."

In 2004, an extremely powerful Indian Ocean quake set off a tsunami that killed more than 230,000 people in a dozen countries, most of them in Indonesia’s Aceh province.

Separating climate change and inequality won't work, says Biden's World Bank nominee

President Biden's nominee to lead the World Bank says the twin global challenges of climate change and inequality need to be addressed simultaneously and cannot be separated.

Ajay Banga, the former CEO of Mastercard, tells Morning Edition's Michel Martin that it will take the combined action of all stakeholders, from countries to the multilateral development banking system to the private sector to make a difference, particularly when it comes to climate change.

"We don't have the time to play in silos," he says.

Banga, who is 63, says the World Bank, which oversees billions of dollars in funding for developing countries, will have to forge new partnerships to provide the resources necessary to tackle today's challenges.

"The scale of these challenges require trillions, not billions," he says.

The successful Indian-American businessman is the only candidate for the president position at the multilateral institution.

His nomination will need to be confirmed by the bank's board.
