There's a BIG difference between a "supermodel wife" and a "schoolteacher wife" in LEFTIST/LIBERAL circles. Pence knows what he's doing here. He's not pointing out how beautiful she looked at dinner. Disrespectful. I think President Donald J. Trump had Pence's number from day one. POTUS is street smart and his discernment is strong. He knows that liars and back-stabbers will sometimes let a disrespectful comment about Melania slip out and he will remember that forever. He'll let you get close so he can keep an eye on you but he knows the betrayal is coming which he'll present for the world to see. POTUS loves giving people all the rope they need.
