GATE THEORY EXPLAINED

Reason for the headphones edition.

Any anons remember those tests they gave us in gradeschool where you raise your hand during the beep? Remember the headphones? Those headphones were being used to stimulate the brain with Trans-Cranial Direct Stimulation. I'm sure if you remember the headphones that you also remember the little geometric shapes they had you play with around the same time. Maybe being taught in separate classrooms. Most students were on either end of the intelligence spectrum. Other things that anons tend to have as profile points are the following:

forehead scar

tendencies towards paranormal or spiritual interests

pattern recognition

early drug use

either extremely high or low achievement in life, rarely midrange

leniency with police

Israeli girlfriend (not a joke, usually a very pretty girl involved in "arts" who then abruptly leaves, most likely intended as a form of induced trauma)

The purpose of this "study" was for the military to create "super soldiers" basically. Experts in pattern recognition. Guess where we all ended up? Image boards.

I believe this is why I have epilepsy as they reduced the action potential in my brain and caused a much reduced seizure threshold. I hereby demand either a public release of the cure for idiopathic epilepsy, OR a tremendous amount of money so I can do the treatments that I know will work.

In my own case, the recoil of a rifle scope, but other anons that have these same profile points often report things like running into tree branches, falling on gravel, surgery scars. It's actually slightly less important about the "how" as to they "why." Cattle get branded.

Also worth mentioning is that anons that fit these profile points nearly ALWAYS have near death experiences, specifically drowning, as is my case and most others.

Look up temporal lobe epilepsy. There's specific personality types associated with this disease. By using trans cranial direct stimulation, you can create a brain that can "think faster, learn faster, and recognize patterns faster" however what they did not account for is that "learning" is not memorizing things on a page. "Learning" can be learning that dopamine hits can be achieved more efficiently with drugs than hard work. "Learning" can be finding ways of manipulating systems. ":Learning" can be inducing sociopathy or epilepsy because all they really did was change the action potential of neurons.

Yes, tinnitus is parts of the brain firing off when they shouldn't. Look up "magnesium levels in tinnitus," as magnesium can help elevate GABA in the brain. The two neurotransmitters that are the most important but NEVER talked about are GABA and GLUTAMATE. Glutamate is the accelerator, GABA is the slow down one. Even if they've manipulated the electrical potential of neurons, they can be counter balanced effectively by supplementing with the proper bacteria strains that promote the production of GABA in the body. Keep asking and I'll keep answering.

The selection process is probably the least interesting out of this whole thing. Generally speaking, if you were to pick an experimental population, you'd want a couple things: parents who aren't smart enough to put 2 and 2 together (alcoholics for example), kids that either show high potential early on (as then if they crash and burn it's just "burnout") or trouble makers as they were conceptually destined to crash and burn anyways.

The explanation of the paranormal interest by subjects of GATE theory experiments mostly has to do with pattern recognition and the human brain's ability to pick up on patterns in noise. For example, I'm sure you've heard about how some people have an inner monologue and some don't (maybe they think visually or in pictures.

The human brain thinks in ARCHETYPES. We think CONCEPTUALLY. Where this gets interesting is that if you increase this ability in the brain, the individual will pick up on things that humanity has been noticing for as long as it's been around. You can know the end of a story simply by the way it starts. If you meet someone who fits the archetype of "trouble maker" you can reasonably predict their behavior in given situations. It isn't a special power, but it IS a GREAT advantage, and likely why these subjects tend to have leniency with police as they subtly understand the archetypes at play in the interaction of "police are pulling me over or questioning me."

Something I'd like to expand on further is that lets say for example that you go for a hike and see a large bird flying overhead, you're more likely to interpret that event strongly, as it has high archetypal value. Then later that day there is a thunder storm. You had the "feeling" that this may happen, that it was a time of change, that things were "happening." You picked up on a feeling that was hyper true. The birds were catching updrafts of heat from the ridge you were hiking, as the weather WAS going to change. The temporal lobe is the part of the brain that deals with feeling.

Feel free to keep asking.

I should've been more specific: at the time of your experience with GATE you were likely near a river. I only suggest it because it means you were in an area of significant geological/topographical importance. Therefore you may have been in an area where training/experimenting on a population were more likely to produce results. If a man owns fertile farm land, and they did this experiment on him, then maybe they can see him be more productive with his land and that prove the experiment.

Unfortunately, this has less to do with genuinely paranormal events and more to the concept that the paranormal/spiritual exists in the sense that "that which we perceive to be real IS real." (The Social Construction of Reality is a good book on this). We perceive these patterns in the world with hypersensitivity. We are like canaries in coal mines sort of. You can imagine the military or commercial/financial/marketing advantage to being able to create this biological computers would give.

When you see a bird fly overhead, it's more than just a bird, its a weather vein, it's a weather predictor, its a part of a story your brain constructs instantly, and usually, pretty correctly.

The lesson to be learned here is this: all the spiritual stuff IS real. It doesn't matter if it "objectively" exists, because it exists in a hyperreal way. Personally, I'm very religious and pay a GREAT deal of attention to spiritual things. Many will fall prey to imitations of spiritualism, because sometimes a knock on the door isn't always a friend. The message here should be one of optimism, even though personally I'm very miserable and desperate for this epilepsy to end. My narrative currently is a negative one, but speaking here about all this has helped bump my narrative in a better direction. I don't feel as alone. They need to start admitting the gut bacterial role in neurotransmitters so that I can potentially undo the over-stimulation of the GATE trans cranial direct stimulation. Below is a case of epilepsy being CURED in a patient with Chron's who got a fecal microbiota transplant to fix Chron's and accidentally showed the cure to epilepsy. I'm here out of desperation I used to be capable of extensive digs that bore fruit, but now I'm miserable. I want to get back to "normal" as well as I can.
