Elon Musk Tells Tucker Carlson Google Co-Founder Larry Page Wants to Build a Digital God

During Elon Musk’s long anticipated sit down interview with Tucker Carlson, the CEO of Tesla stated Co-Founder of Google, Larry Page, once told him he plans to build a ‘digital god’.

Musk told Tucker that he used to stay at Larry Page’s house in Palo Alto, California and he frequently warned Page about the dangers of AI.

The CEO of Twitter continued and said Page noticeably did not take heed to his warning about AI safety but instead called him a speciesist.

Musk also shared with Tucker that Google’s end game is to a “create digital super intelligence” or in other words a “digital god.”

Later in the interview Musk would explain how Google’s end game is to create Artificial General Intelligence or AGI.

AGI is the key factor many Silicon Valley engineers believe is the key for the singularity or intelligence explosion to occur.

The term singularity hit the mainstream after Ray Kurzweil released his book “The Singularity Is Near” which explains how in the near future “human life will be irreversibly transformed” by technology that is smarter than the human brain.

Page himself is a big fan of Kurzweil, and many of his startups reflect it too.

In 2013 Page announced Google’s subsidiary Calico which is seeking to cure death.

Kurzweil’s documentary Transcendent Man has also made it clear he wants to seek eternal life outside of God.

Border crossings surge 23% in March, nearing 200K

Crucially, the agency noted that more than two-thirds (69%) of those March encounters were single adults.

Migrant encounters at the U.S. border with Mexico surged 23% in March over February.

Combining migrant encounters between Ports of Entry and those noncitizens processed at Ports of Entry, the U.S. Customs and Border Protection tallied 191,900 arrivals in March. That figure stands considerably higher than the 156,138 tallied in February.

Acting CBP Commissioner Troy Miller stressed that the March figures were down compared with March of the year prior, saying "CBP works around the clock to perform our vital missions including maintaining border security."

"Overall, in March, encounters of individuals on the Southwest border between ports of entry were down 23% from the prior year, as we continue to respond to the challenges presented by increasing global migration," he continued.

Crucially, the agency noted that more than two-thirds (69%) of those March encounters were single adults.

CBP was adamant that such an increase between February and March is "typical, as winter temperatures rise with the approaching spring." It further noted that the 23% increase between the 2023 months was significantly less than the 34% surge between the same months in 2022.

Michael Cohen: ‘Trump Is a Clear and Present Danger to the United States’

Michael Cohen, a former personal attorney for Donald Trump, said Monday on MSNBC’s “The ReidOut” that former President Donald Trump was “a clear and present danger to the United States.”

Discussing Rep. Jim Jordan’s (R-OH) Select Subcommittee on the Weaponization of the Federal Government, Cohen said, “This is nothing more than a political stunt. It’s a political stunt designed in order for Jim Jordan to show his supreme leader that he is still loyal, still in the camp, and he’s going to do his bidding. It’s really sad because when they first opened up this subcommittee, I was really hopeful, not optimistic, but hopeful that he actually really wanted to get to the bottom of the weaponization, because the United States is not about Donald Trump it’s not about Republican Party or the Democratic Party, it’s about the United States and the citizens, and his responsibility despite the fact he’s a Republican is to act for the benefit of all Americans he’s not doing that. And it’s a disgrace.”

He added, “They made me the first political prisoner held in my own country because I refused to waive my First Amendment constitutional rights. If that doesn’t scare you to death, it should because you could be next. That’s the whole point of everything that I’m doing. Donald Trump is a clear and present danger to the United States and to our democracy.”

Here’s What A Children’s Hospital Quietly Scrubbed From The Internet Amid Public Backlash Over Gender Transitions

The Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia (CHOP) purged its website of numerous videos and documents related to its pediatric gender clinic following public outrage over gender transition procedures being offered to minors there.

Clinic staff encouraged school employees to keep children’s gender identity secret from parents and promoted biomedical interventions for young children in some of the since-removed online resources, which have been saved in online archives.

“In research conducted with colleagues at CHOP, we examined the experience of chest dysphoria and top (masculinizing chest) surgery in transmasculine youth ages 13–21 … Top surgery can vastly improve the lives of transmasculine youth and is critical to their health and well-being,” one document read.

The Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia (CHOP), which operates a gender clinic, removed numerous videos and posts discussing childhood gender transitions, including irreversible surgeries, from its website amid public backlash, the Daily Caller News Foundation has learned.

The CHOP Gender and Sexuality Development Program came under scrutiny in September 2022 after some of its training videos on childhood gender transitions were circulated online, and the clinic said it was tightening its security that October due to threats. Resources including videos in which clinic staff promoted cross-sex medical interventions for minors and advised school workers to keep children’s gender identity secret from their families have since disappeared from CHOP’s website; these pages are saved in online archives, but their links either redirect to error pages or go to pages that have been heavily altered with certain links removed.

A CHOP webpage linking to a document that promoted “gender-affirming care” for youth, including mastectomies for girls as young as 13, was saved to online archives in June 2022, but that page had been removed from public view by November. The document was produced by CHOP’s PolicyLab, which conducts research and makes public policy recommendations on health care issues.

“Many transmasculine youth … experience chest dysphoria, which is physical and emotional distress caused by the presence of unwanted breast tissue,” the document read. “In research conducted with colleagues at CHOP, we examined the experience of chest dysphoria and top (masculinizing chest) surgery in transmasculine youth ages 13–21 … Top surgery can vastly improve the lives of transmasculine youth and is critical to their health and well-being.”

The CHOP website also removed the public’s ability to download annual reports on the clinic’s achievements in medicine, outreach and advocacy, which were publicly available as of June 2022 but needed to be requested by email as of January 2023, according to online archives. One such report previously obtained by the DCNF revealed that the clinic had hired a social worker to help minors access “gender-affirming” surgeries by gathering letters of support and requesting that insurance companies cover the procedure.
