In ca. still an amazing amount of people wearing masks. A surprising # of younger , college aged or abouts, wearing them. I want to knock 'em upside the head sometimes. I avert my eyes though and won't even make eye contact with them. Why bother.

I don't think they wish to think about anything at all. "Just tell me what to do dems, I will follow your lead."

NO NO NO NO NO.

This is misleading.

Rice is not the culprit. It is what the farmers have been doing with the left over straw after harvest.

They have been burning it in the field.

The solution was simple and a good one. They are teaching the farmers to bundle up the straw in round bales and sell it. They can grow mushrooms in it and then use the left over from the mushrooms as fertilizer. It is an easy profitable solution for the farmers.

India and China, the worst, as usual, will not sign an agreement to lower emissions.

Don't make rice out to be a problem and that they are trying to eliminate rice. This is one story that is a good one.

But only if people listen watch etc. to the message.

WATCH THE VIDEOit's only 2 minutes. Educate yourself.

I hate to disagree with you. I was into stopping the child abuse as well.

I think what will wake people up more is more basic even. Plain old survival. Food and shelter. Cutting off heating fuel again the next winter and or a serious food shortage is what I think will trigger them.

I would have thought the baby food "shortage" would have triggered many and also, old folks freezing to death.

It has to get more personal than that.

When it comes down to no meat to eat. That is going to be a problem.

Just my opinion.
