So I was just looking up to see if Peter Fonda was a Jesuit, because his little threat reminded me of the "extreme jesuit oath"
>I furthermore promise and declare that I will, when opportunity present, make and wage relentless war, secretly or openly, against all heretics, Protestants and Liberals, as I am directed to do, to extirpate and exterminate them from the face of the whole earth; and that I will spare neither age, sex or condition; and that I will hang, waste, boil, flay, strangle and bury alive these infamous heretics, rip up the stomachs and wombs of their women and crush their infants' heads against the walls, in order to annihilate forever their execrable race. That when the same cannot be done openly, I will secretly use the poisoned cup, the strangulating cord, the steel of the poniard or the leaden bullet, regardless of the honor, rank, dignity, or authority of the person or persons, whatever may be their condition in life, either public or private, as I at any time may be directed so to do by any agent of the Pope or Superior of the Brotherhood of the Holy Faith, of the Society of Jesus.
But then I came across this article:
https://www.seattlepi.com/local/politics/article/Connelly-Lutheran-Rep-Heck-mad-as-hell-at-12873323.php
I had just assumed the firing of the House Chaplin was some sort of activism by a "Freedom From Religion" type foundation. But apparently Pat Conroy was a filthy stinking Jesuit.
And surprise:
>On May 11, Pelosi announced she was "reconsidering" support when it was revealed that the group for which Conroy worked had paid $166 million for more than 400 claims of child sexual abuse.[16] Boehner's reaction was to say that Conroy was vetted and that the nomination would stand.
>At the request of Speaker Paul Ryan, Conroy resigned on April 16, 2018, with May 24 being his last day in office. According to Conroy, Speaker Ryan's office had admonished him for his prayers, as well as Ryan personally telling him: "Padre, you just got to stay out of politics." Approximately two weeks later, Conroy rescinded his resignation and announced his intention to remain in the role after objections to Ryan's actions were raised by lawmakers on both sides of the aisle.
This guy has dirt on Paul Ryan, among others.
Worth a further dig, and keeping an eye on.
