Hillary Clinton Trashes Trump, Says He Has “No Chance” Against Biden in 2024 Following Indictment

Sky News reporter Beth Rigby interviewed twice-failed presidential hopeful Hillary Clinton in Belfast on Tuesday.

Beth Rigby slobbered all over Hillary Clinton and asked one-sided questions.

“It’s pretty ironic, isn’t it, that [Trump] is now, a former president… could now face jail time. How does that make you feel?” Beth Rigby asked Clinton.

Trump was indicted by a Manhattan grand jury on junk charges earlier this month.

Manhattan District Attorney Alvin Bragg refused to say what the underlying felony was during a press conference.

Hillary Clinton cheered on the lawlessness.

“[Trump] accuses people of doing thing that he himself is doing. It’s a form of psychological projection,” Hillary said.

“So, he has been indicted… but he has said he is going to keep running,” Hillary said. “But even if he gets the Republican nomination, he cannot, in my view, be re-elected president.”

Clinton said she does not believe Trump can win in a “general election against Biden.”

Hillary said Joe Biden will win in 2024 no matter who wins the Republican nomination.

'Squad' member Cori Bush calls for Clarence Thomas impeachment

The conservative justice has long attracted intense criticism from the political left, in part for his judicial opinions handing legal wins to their opponents.

Missouri Democratic Rep. Cori Bush, a member of the far-left "Squad," joined her fellow progressive lawmakers in calling for the impeachment of Supreme Court Associate Justice Clarence Thomas on Tuesday.

Bush insisted that Thomas "holds a complete disregard for law and ethics that is incompatible with the trust and confidence placed in federal judges," according to The Hill. "For these reasons, and because the federal judiciary has failed to hold Justice Thomas accountable, I am calling for impeachment proceedings to begin regarding Justice Thomas’s apparent violations of federal law."

Bush's position follows reports that Thomas did not disclose his lavish vacations with Republican megadonor Harlan Crow. He has insisted he was not required to report them and has denied all wrongdoing.

She joins her colleague, New York Democratic Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez in demanding his removal from office over the matter.

"This is beyond party or partisanship. This degree of corruption is shocking - almost cartoonish," she said earlier this month. "Thomas must be impeached. Barring some dramatic change, this is what the Roberts court will be known for: rank corruption, erosion of democracy, and the stripping of human rights."

Original "Squad" members Reps. Ilhan Omar, D-Minn., and Rashida Tlaib, D-Mich., have also called for his impeachment, The Hill noted.

The conservative justice has long drawn intense criticism from the political left, in part for his judicial opinions handing legal wins to their opponents. Thomas was one of the justices who voted to overturn the constitutional right to an abortion, established in the 1973 Roe v. Wade case, last year.

HHS Secretary Becerra violated Hatch Act, special counsel says

During the event, Padilla identified Becerra by his official title and presented him with an award.

Health and Human Service Secretary Xavier Becerra violated the Hatch Act, the U.S. Office of Special Counsel has determined.

By supporting the reelection of California Democratic Sen. Alex Padilla in 2022, Becerra ran afoul of the law barring federal officials from engaging in political activities while in their official capacities, wrote special counsel Henry Kerner to President Joe Biden, according to Fox News.

Padilla spoke at the Hispanic Caucus Institute Annual Awards Gala in September of 2022, shortly before the midterm contests during which he expressed support for the Democrat's campaign in his "official capacity," Kerner wrote.

"To my brother, my friend and Senator, and someone I will be voting for in a little bit more than a month, Alex Padilla, thank you so much, Senator, for being there for all of us," Becerra said at the event. "We are proud to have you as our Senator."

During the event, Padilla identified Becerra by his official title and presented him with an award.

"OSC concluded that Secretary Becerra violated the Hatch Act by expressing support for Senator Alex Padilla’s reelection while speaking in his official capacity at the Congressional Hispanic Caucus Institute Annual Awards Gala on September 15, 2022," he informed Biden.

"In delivering his speech, Secretary Becerra impermissibly mixed his personal electoral preference with official remarks," he continued. "While federal employees are permitted to express support for candidates when speaking in their personal capacity, the Hatch Act restricts employees from doing so when speaking as a government official."

Saudi Foreign Minister Lands In Syria, Meets Assad, In 1st Since War's Start In 2011

This is the visit that Washington policymakers and establishment Middle East "experts" have been dreading, and signals that the West's proxy war to oust Assad is definitively over - at least in terms of the end of hawks and neocons' longtime hope of seeing Assad overthrown…

Saudi Foreign Minister Prince Faisal bin Farhan landed in Damascus on Tuesday for the first time since the start of the war in 2011.

It's also an image that many thought would never happen, and paves the way for a possible future visit of Assad to Saudi Arabia, where he could eventually meet directly with King Salman or crown prince Mohammed bin Salman.

The high-level visit comes just following last week's "surprise" trip by Syrian Foreign Minister Faisal Mekdad to the kingdom. Clearly, relations are fast being restored and rumors are that the next move is for Assad to be invited back into the Arab League.

According to a summary of Tuesday's visit in regional news source Al-Monitor:

Farhan was received by Syrian President Bashar al-Assad. The two discussed efforts towards finding a "political solution" to the Syria conflict that would "preserve Syria's unity, security, stability, Arab identity, and territorial integrity."

They also talked about the "return of Syria to its Arab fold and the resumption of its natural role in the Arab world," according to a statement from the Saudi Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

Already the United Arab Emirates (UA) had resumed relations with Syria in 2018. Other regional countries now seem to be lining up to restore normal relations.

For example, Tunisia and Syria agreed to fully restore relations last week, after a three-day visit of Syrian FM Mekdad to Tunis.

This wave of thawed relations between Assad and Arab states was without doubt helped to a large degree by the China-brokered peace deal between Saudi Arabia and Iran. Syria is Iran's closest ally in the Levant, and is also a hub of support to Lebanese Hezbollah. It's likely to complicate the US-brokered Abraham Accords, and may hinder recognition between Saudi Arabia and Israel.

Mysterious Russian T-90 Tank Appears At Louisiana Gas Station

A Russian third-generation main battle tank seized by Ukrainian forces was left in a parking lot off Interstate 10 highway in Louisiana last week. Photos of the tank were posted on Reddit and shared with the military blog The War Zone.

Employees at Peto's Travel Center and Casino in Roanoke, Louisiana, told the military website that someone had left the T-90A battle tank after the truck hauling it broke down.

DC Attorney Sued Over Alleged Stonewalling Of Jan. 6 Footage Release

Several major media companies launched a lawsuit last week against D.C. U.S. Attorney Matthew Graves, the Executive Office of U.S. Attorneys (EOUSA) and the FBI demanding the release of U.S. Capitol surveillance footage from the Jan. 6 events as related trials continue.

House Speaker Kevin McCarthy had given Fox News host Tucker Carlson, a Daily Caller co-founder and honorary Daily Caller News Foundation board member, more than 44,000 hours of such footage in February, withholding the videos from every other news organization that requested them, according to the lawsuit filed Wednesday. Plaintiffs subsequently submitted Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) requests for the footage, but the EOUSA allegedly refused to grant access to it and the FBI allegedly claimed they were “unable to identify” the requested material.

“There is no basis under FOIA to withhold, in whole or in part, the records requested by Plaintiffs,” the lawsuit argues. “EOUSA has wrongfully withheld agency records in violation of FOIA.”

Graves was served court summons in the case Thursday explaining that a lawsuit had been filed against him, a Monday court filing revealed. He became D.C. U.S. Attorney in November 2021, leading an office that has pursued charges against more than 900 Jan. 6 defendants.

The Associated Press, CNN, The New York Times Company and CBS Broadcasting are all plaintiffs in the case. Their lawsuit calls for the court to force defendants to provide un-redacted access to the Jan. 6 Capitol surveillance footage “without further delay.”
