Today in History: The Shot Heard 'Round the World

https://www.history.com/this-day-in-history/the-american-revolution-begins

April 19, 1775: At about 5 a.m., 700 British troops, on a mission to capture Patriot leaders and seize a Patriot arsenal, march into Lexington to find 77 armed minutemen under Captain John Parker waiting for them on the townโ€™s common green. British Major John Pitcairn ordered the outnumbered Patriots to disperse, and after a momentโ€™s hesitation the Americans began to drift off the green. Suddenly, a shot was fired from an undetermined gun, and a cloud of musket smoke soon covered the green. When the brief Battle of Lexington ended, eight Americans lay dead or dying and 10 others were wounded. Only one British soldier was injured, but the American Revolution had begun.

Only withe the hand of Providence could we have taken out the world's #2 army and #1 navy, especially with a rag-tag bunch of angry farmers with pitchforks.

Texas has pretty strong stand your ground laws. You can shoot a robber stealing from a neighbor's house.

Authorities found several bullet casings and two cars with their windows shot out.

Officials are determining if the suspect will be charged in the fatal shooting.

Officer Nick Soliz said that people shouldn't take matters into their own hands if their car is stolen.

AD 536. It sucked to be you.

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Volcanic_winter_of_536

In 538, the Roman statesman Cassiodorus described the following to one of his subordinates in letter 25:

-The sun's rays were weak, and they appeared a "bluish" colour.

-At noon, no shadows from people were visible on the ground.

-The heat from the sun was feeble.

-The moon, even when full, was "empty of splendour"

-"A winter without storms, a spring without mildness, and a summer without heat"

-Prolonged frost and unseasonable drought

-The seasons "seem to be all jumbled up together"

-The sky is described as "blended with alien elements" just like cloudy weather, except prolonged. It was "stretched like a hide across the sky" and prevented the "true colours" of the sun and moon from being seen, along with the sun's warmth.

-Frosts during harvest, which made apples harden and grapes sour.

-The need to use stored food to last through the situation.

-Subsequent letters (no. 26 and 27) discuss plans to relieve a widespread famine.

โ€ฆthe climate changes contributed to various developments, such as the emergence of the Plague of Justinian (541โ€“549; 7-56% of the humans on earth died from Bubonic Plague), the decline of the Avars, the migration of Mongol tribes towards the west, the end of the Sassanid Empire, the collapse of the Gupta Empire, the rise of Islam, the expansion of Turkic tribes, and the fall of Teotihuacรกn

This is why we have to be accurate in our posts, anon. We basically function as Drudge used to. Journos come here and follow our digs to bring things to the world's eyes.

Consider how anons were breaking down Hunter laptop in August 2020 (3 weeks of Hunter dick pics, for goodness sakes) and NYPost runs it in October.

We were digging on this before.
