Members of the State Duma adopted in the second and third readings amendments on the protection of citizens of the Russian Federation from international organizations issuing decisions that contradict the national legislation. The draft law was prepared by members of the State Duma, including the Chairman of the State Duma Vyacheslav Volodin and leaders of all factions.
The relevant legislative initiatives were adopted in connection with the illegal actions of the international organizations, including the International Criminal Court, as said the Chairman of the State Duma: a penalty of up to 5 years of imprisonment had been introduced for assisting in executing decisions issued by those interstate organizations on the criminal prosecution of our military personnel and volunteers, officials or public authority bodies.
