Former Fox Business host Dobbs on Dominion settlement: Issues of the 2020 election remain unresolved
Fox News and Dominion reached a settlement Tuesday in which the network reportedly agree to pay $787.5 million
Political commentator and former Fox News Business host Lou Dobbs said Tuesday evening that he was surprised to see the cable news network earlier this day settle a $1.6 billion lawsuit with Dominion Voting Systems.
"My reaction is, I was surprised to see them settle and to make agreements on a number of things," Dobbs told the "Just the News, No Noise" TV show. "But this is the course of settlements."
Fox News and Dominion reached a settlement Tuesday in which the network reportedly agree to pay $787.5 million.
Dominion argued that Fox defamed the company by knowingly allowing guests on their shows to peddle false accusations that the 2020 presidential election was rigged and that Dominion's voting machines were involved. Fox had contended that it was protected by the First Amendment and that the allegations against the company were newsworthy.
Dominion sued anchors anchors Maria Bartiromo, Lou Dobbs and Jeanine Pirro, Fox Corporation, Sidney Powell and Rudolph Giuliani based on claims they made about the 2020 election being rigged.
"I think it's good in one way to get this behind for Fox," Dobbs also said. "It is good for Dominion. … And you know, we're now at least at a resolution. It was a tough time for the country."
Dobbs argued that it still had to be acknowledged that all the issues in 2020 were not settled.
"The suggestion that these issues are settled is to ignore the reality," he said. "And the reality is that three states with a total of 42,000 votes decided who the President was. Some of those states at this very moment are still very much in question by millions of people."
He said that there would be many questions about the 2020 election for years to come.
"It was, I think, the most tragic election in the country's history," stated Dobbs. "There will be many questions asked for a very, very long period of time. Unfortunately, the answer should have already been before the American people, but the federal government failed them. The court system failed them and that's my opinion."

NYC Mayor to Cut Carbon Emissions by Cutting Off Food

New York City Mayor Eric Adams and Chief Climate Officer and New York City Department of Environmental Protection (DEP) Commissioner Rohit T. Aggarwala today released the city’s first integrated greenhouse gas inventory, which incorporates emissions from the production and consumption of food. Those emissions represent 20 percent of New York City’s overall emissions — the third largest source, behind buildings (35 percent) and transportation (21 percent).
Just like cars and individual liberty, the food will have to go. New Yorkers will look back nostalgically for the days when Mayor Bloomberg merely wanted to cut salt and ban soda. They’re coming for your meat, fish and eggs.
In response to the new inventory, Mayor Adams and Mayor’s Office of Food Policy (MOFP) Executive Director Kate MacKenzie also announced that the city will reduce absolute carbon emissions from food purchases across its city agencies by 33 percent by 2030.
Just wait until they do an inventory of carbon emissions based on population and announce that they’re cutting the population by 33% by 2030. If you don’t think it’s coming, look to the history of the Left.
“New York City is leading the world when it comes to combating climate change, because we’re using every option on the menu in our fight — and that includes changing our menus, too,” said Mayor Adams. “This new emissions report shows us that plant-powered food isn’t just good for our physical and mental health, but good for the planet as well. We’ve already made great strides in reducing our food emissions by leading with plant-based meals in our public hospitals and introducing Plant-Powered Fridays in our public schools. Now, we know we need to go further. That’s why today, we’re committing to reducing the city’s food-based emissions at agencies by 33 percent by 2030 and challenging our private sector partners to join us by cutting their food emissions by 25 percent in the same time period.”

If you think that this is just going to affect public school students and patients in hospitals, you’ve got another thing coming.
Mandates will come to restaurants and then grocery stores. Food accused of carbon emissions will be taxed appropriately.
First, they’ll starve the elderly though. It always seems to start with children, the sick and the elderly. Probably because they’re the most vulnerable.
“In Fiscal Year 2023, the New York City Department of Aging served nearly 3 million nutritious meals to older New Yorkers, and under Mayor Eric Adams we continue to make changes to these programs to reduce the negative environmental impact they have” said New York City Department for the Aging Commissioner Lorraine Cortés-Vázquez.
No more meat, chickens, fish, eggs or milk (you can’t afford them anyway and that’s the plan.
The new inventory shows that 20 percent of New York City’s greenhouse gas emissions come from household food consumption — primarily from meats, poultry, fish, eggs, and dairy products.

“Fighting the climate crisis requires a comprehensive, all-of-the-above approach to reducing carbon emissions in our city,” said U.S. Representative Jerrold Nadler. “I’m proud to support today’s commitment which will reduce food-based carbon emissions by 33 percent while also engaging the private sector to do their part. Together, these initiatives will bring New York closer to fulfilling the carbon-neutrality goals of the Paris Agreement.”
Just wait until the “private sector” does its part to eliminate meats, poultry, fish, eggs, and dairy the way it’s doing its part to push critical race theory in the workplace and sexual grooming into public schools.

Former Director Of National Intelligence Admits That Fauci Lied About Gain Of Function Research
Only two years ago numerous alternative media sources including Zero Hedge were accused of spreading "conspiracy theories" and false information relating to the origins of the Covid-19 virus. Specifically, anyone who dared to suggest that the Level 4 virology lab in Wuhan, China (right across town from covid ground zero) might be the source of the outbreak, faced outright censorship on social media. The question many people should have been asking is: "Why?" - Why was the censorship so aggressive over clearly reasonable investigations into Wuhan lab operations?
Not only that, but why were the denials and spin from officials like Anthony Fauci so swift? Why not simply examine the evidence instead of dismissing it out of hand?
The real reason for the campaign to silence discussion on the Wuhan lab becomes evident as the connections between Fauci, the NIH and the lab are revealed. Elements of the US government including Fauci were in fact bankrolling gain of function research on coronaviruses at Wuhan, and shielding it from government oversight. It is undeniable. If one accepts that the most likely source for the covid pandemic was the Wuhan laboratory then one must also accept that Fauci and his associates helped to create the pandemic.

Evidence of the research includes documents from the Department of Defense (obtained by Project Veritas) which confirm that EcoHealth Alliance approached DARPA in 2018 about gain of function research on bat borne coronaviruses under a proposal called Project Defuse. DARPA rejected the proposal on the grounds that it did not outline the risks of such experimentation and violated a moratorium on gain on function research. EcoHealth then went to Fauci and the NIH for funding, and Fauci was quick to support it using the labs in Wuhan.
Documents from the NIH itself also show that the group engaged in gain of function research at Wuhan focusing on developing coronaviruses that could be transferred from animals to humans. Fauci was aware of this research by at least 2021 (and was likely involved from the very beginning) and yet continued to lie about NIH involvement.
Meanwhile, the National Pulse - which has done multiple deep-dive investigations on the topic, uncovered in May of 2001 that the WIV scrubbed all mention of its partnership with the NIH from their website.
Scrutiny over Fauci's disinformation campaign may be too little too late, and we have to wonder if the man will ever face consequences for his actions. However, the exposure of Fauci and the NIH is so overwhelming that the former Director of National Intelligence now admits that Fauci misled Congress and the American public.
