Buttigieg: The chemistry of our batteries has not completely stabilized in a way that can be fully predicted…there is no question we are going to need to source more minerals, both domestically, and friendly countries.
Zinke: Are you aware that ninety percent of the solar cells today are dumped in some landfill across the country?
Buttigieg: I'm not as familiar with the life-cycle of solar cells…end of life recycling will be a vital part of how we meet our marks.
