I recall in the early 1980s going out for pizza with friends and being told how wonderful ham & pineapple pizza was. Having been born & raised in Chicago, where they have real pizza, I was skeptical. But I ate it, and thought that it was actually pretty good. But I am a bigger fan of sausage pizza, with black olives, mushrooms, and onions.
I wonder sometimes if these elites don't popularize something just to throw normies off the track and to make fun of normies. They think they are clever with their little coded messages to each other, pulling the wool over the sheep's eyes.

My mom used to make homemade pizza with the homemade crust, made with yeast that had to rise. Made her own pizza sauce, and used fresh Mozzarella cheese from the deli.
It was an all day project and a special treat for my family when I was growing up. Authentic Italian recipe.
The nearest I come to that now, is a store bought crust and jar of pizza sauce with my own ingredients thrown on top.
Still good, but not nearly as good as my moms.
