A Perilous Purchase: CCP Ownership of U.S. Land was the first prize high school west division winner in C-SPAN Classroom’s StudentCam documentary contest. Carson Collins, a 10th grader who is homeschooled in Austin, Texas, produced this video on the 2023 theme: “If you were a newly-elected member of Congress, which issue would be your first priority and why?” The local cable provider was Spectrum.
C-SPAN Classroom’s StudentCam video documentary contest is an annual national competition in which middle and high school students produce a documentary on a specific theme.
