Yeah, nothing is going to happen. Certainly nothing like what is expected. It COULD have happened but it needed to happen the first year when we gave trump the house, the Senate and the oval office. Instead we got nothing at all. Now go look at a real country with a real leader… El Salvador. Bukele declared an emergency… Had the military arrest them all… And then the crime stopped. Easy peasy.
My guess is this was trumps plan but the military laughed in his face. He didn't do what he needed to do which was disband most of the upper and mid level officers who were corrupt and captured and replace them with fresh faces that are loyal to him. Same goes with all 3-letter agencies. He had the house and Senate! He could have disbanded the goddammed IRS! Repealed the firearms act of 1934… Ended birthright citizenship by non-Americans But noooo. We get an unfinished wall, 5miln Mexicans a year and an image board instead.
The US will fall. History demands this at this point. The only fix is radical downsizing and decentralization of the government.
