I wish we had all the scrolls, the papyrus, the skins, all the ancient writings that the Nicene council in 400 AD destroyed so they might control the Christian narrative going forward.

Eyewitness accounts even. One of those Gospels was changed in translation over 200 times. The earliest Gospel was written 60 years after Jesus walked the earth and was murdered.

But, the narrative must be controlled, at all costs.

As Solomon said, "there is nothing new under the sun. And all is vanity."

Just an FYI–the Temple was razed so they might build new ones, millions of them, so no "Jesus" in the future could just walk in there and throw the money-changers out.
