A MUFON meeting I went to quite a few years ago had one of the investigators into some cattle mutilations in Colorado.
She said that coyotes and flies would not touch them, and those carcasses will sit out for days without being bothered by scavengers.
They didn't know (of course), but flesh was cut like as if by a scalpel, but absolutely NO BLOOD.
I guess she could have been lying about it, I wouldn't know any different because I was never present for the investigation.
