A federal judge in Virginia is fighting for full custody of his two young daughters after his high society ex-wife was arrested at a hotel where she allegedly planned to sexually assault an eight-year-old girl, DailyMail.com can exclusively reveal.

Eleanor Hunton Hoppe, 45, a member of one of Virginia's most prominent families, was snared in an FBI sting last month after messaging an undercover agent explicit and sickening details about what she wanted to do to the child, according to court filings.

The mother-of-two – who has been charged with child porn and child sex abuse offenses – is also accused of sending the agent a 30-second video and three still images of young minor girls being horrifically sexually abused by men.

Her arrest has stunned communities in Charlottesville, where she lives, and in Richmond where she grew up amid wealth and prestige as a member of a legal powerhouse family who helped found the city's biggest law firm, now known as Hunton, Andrews, Kurth.

URGENT: Moderna hid serious side effects suffered by its Covid vaccine recipients when it reported clinical trial results for the shot

Moderna scientists said in a 2021 paper no mRNA jab recipients in the trial had "serious adverse effects." In fact, 14 ultimately did, including three miscarriages. No placebo recipients did.

In February 2021, Moderna scientists published results from the Phase 2 trial of the company’s mRNA Covid jab in the journal Vaccine.

Moderna had started the “P201” trial with 600 healthy volunteers on May 29, 2020, mostly to examine if the shots were safe.

The company had good news on that front. In the “Highlights” section at the top of the paper, Moderna’s scientists reported:

No serious adverse effects were observed.

That statement was untrue.

Oddly, later in the paper, Moderna’s scientists contradicted what they had said in the Highlights section. They noted the company had received a single report of a serious side effect in a jab recipient, a case of pneumonia that lasted almost a month.

That statement was also untrue.

Two months before the Vaccine paper, Moderna had reported not one but three cases of serious side effects in P201 trial subjects who received mRNA to the Food and Drug Administration.

The FDA downplayed the side effect reports, including the pneumonia case, saying it did not believe they were related to the shot.

But serious side effects in the jab recipients continued after the company’s initial disclosures to the FDA.

By the time Moderna’s scientists finished revising the Vaccine paper in early February, the company may have received up to four more reports of serious side effects. In all, during the placebo-controlled phase of the trial, which ended in early 2021, seven of the 400 healthy volunteers who received a two-shot regimen of Moderna’s vaccine suffered serious side effects. (Two hundred of those volunteers received the 100-microgram dose that became the approved version, while another 200 received a lower 50-microgram dose.)

The problems included a heart attack and two miscarriages.

In comparison, the 200 people who received a placebo shot without any mRNA had no serious side effects.

Israel arrests Jordanian MP over weapons and gold smuggling, says Amman

With bilateral tensions already high, Foreign Ministry won’t comment on reports that Imad al-Adwan was caught at Allenby Bridge with a dozen assault rifles, 200 handguns in his car

Israel arrested a Jordanian parliamentarian on suspicion of smuggling weapons and gold into the West Bank, Jordan’s Foreign Ministry said in a statement Sunday.

According to Jordan’s Ammon news outlet, the arrest took place Saturday evening at the Allenby Bridge border crossing, as MP Imad al-Adwan was heading into Israel by car.

Israel’s Foreign Ministry declined to comment on the episode.

Video viewed by The Times of Israel showed around a dozen AR-15-style assault rifles and around 200 handguns spread in rows on a floor as Israeli officials catalogued them.

However, Israeli authorities refused to comment on whether they were the weapons seized from Adwan’s car. Police issued a gag order on the case, barring many details from being published by Israeli media.

Former Jordanian MP Tarek Khoury accused Israel of fabricating the gold angle, in order “to turn the heroic act into a smuggling issue.” Israel’s Channel 12 news, without citing a source, also said no gold was found in al-Adwan’s vehicle.

A surge of violence and terror attacks has wracked the West Bank in recent months, aided by a flood of illegal weapons, including many guns smuggled from Jordan.

The incident this weekend was sure to heighten the already elevated tensions between Amman and Jerusalem even further.

According to the Kan public broadcaster, Jordan’s foreign minister, Ayman Safadi, was refusing to answer calls from his Israeli counterpart, Eli Cohen, after news of the incident broke.

Earlier this month, an unnamed senior Israeli official told the Walla news site that Jordanian Foreign Minister Ayman Safadi’s recent conduct and statements had exacerbated the crisis, adding that he “acted like Jordan’s [Itamar] Ben Gvir” — a reference to the far-right Israeli national security minister, whose conduct and policies have been widely viewed as contributing to growing friction with the US and other countries.

Manhattan DA has no authority 'to enforce federal campaign finance crimes': ex-FEC commissioner

What Trump prosecutor Alvin Bragg is "counting on," legal expert Hans von Spakovsky suspects, is that "he can get a liberal jury to convict Trump, no matter what the facts are and no matter what the law is."

Manhattan District Attorney Alvin Bragg's case against former President Donald Trump is legally "dubious" and motivated by political ambition, alleges legal expert Hans von Spakovsky.

"It's an extremely dubious prosecution, and I say that as a former commissioner on the Federal Election Commission," he told Just The News.

Von Spakovsky, the manager of the conservative Heritage Foundation's Election Law Reform Initiative, said Bragg is going after Trump for alleged federal election crimes that are not within his jurisdiction.

"No local state prosecutor has the authority to enforce federal campaign finance crimes in the first place," he explained. "There's just nothing from a factual and legal standpoint to this case. But I don't think this prosecutor cares about that. What he's counting on is that he's in Manhattan. Manhattan is one of the most liberal jurisdictions in the country. I think he believes that he can get a liberal jury to convict Trump, no matter what the facts are and no matter what the law is."

Von Spakovsky predicted that if politics prevails and Trump is found guilty on any of the 34 counts he faces, his only option would be to ask an appellate judge to reverse the decision based on Bragg's handling of the case.

"He can appeal and try to convince an appellate court that this was everything from a malicious prosecution to the fact that it wasn't actually a violation of the law," von Spakovsky explained. "A lot of this is going to depend on the judges and the tenure of the judges in the state court system. And I think that's what Bragg is counting on, because his case is so weak, so nonexistent, that even folks on the left side of the political aisle — including prosecutors — have all basically said there's just nothing to this case."

Von Spakovsky believes the prosecution is motivated by political ambition not the pursuit of justice.

"I think this is very personal to Alvin Bragg," he said. "In other words, I think he is a politically ambitious local DA, and he thinks that this will make him a hero with the Democratic Party and liberal organizations all over the country and that it will enhance his future political career."

Denmark To Withdraw Troops From Syria, Iraq To Combat ‘Threats’ Near Border

On April 23, the Danish Ministry of Defense announced that it will withdraw all military specialists currently serving as a part of the United States-led coalition against ISIS from Iraq and Syria to combat threats near its border.

“Now we are withdrawing the unit to Denmark, partly because the number of the Islamic State [in Syria and Iraq] has been so reduced that there is no equal need for our contribution, and partly because we need to restore combat power for countering the threats that we see in our immediate vicinity,” the ministry said in a statement.

According to the ministry, Danish military specialists have been on the territory of Iraq and Syria in the field of air defense since 2016.

The decision is likely related to the ongoing Russian special military operation in Ukraine and NATO efforts to strengthen its eastern flank.

The U.S. and its NATO allies have been using the war on ISIS as a pretext to maintain a fairly large military presence in Iraq and Syria, where they keep a series of illegitimate bases in the country’s gas and oil-rich northeastern region and along a strategic international highway in the southeastern region.

While the Danish withdrawal will not likely weaken the U.S. military presence in the Middle East, it is an example of how the conflict in Ukraine is affecting Western influence in the region.

NBCUniversal CEO Jeff Shell leaves after misconduct investigation

Jeff Shell left his position as CEO of NBCUniversal on Sunday after a misconduct investigation in which he admitted to having an inappropriate relationship.

"I had an inappropriate relationship with a woman in the company, which I deeply regret," Shell, who is married, said, according to Comcast. "I'm truly sorry I let my Comcast and NBCUniversal colleagues down, they are the most talented people in the business and the opportunity to work with them the last 19 years has been a privilege."

Comcast and Shell "mutually agreed" to Shell's departure, the company also said.

No additional information is available about a successor for Shell, who became CEO of the company in 2019.

Georgia Democrat Activist Who Ran for State House of Representatives Arrested for Kidnapping and Third-Degree Cruelty to Children

A Georgia Democrat who unsuccessfully ran for the state’s House of Representatives has been arrested for kidnapping, cruelty to children, and aggravated assault.

The Muscogee County Sheriff’s Office arrested Zephaniah Dwayne Baker on Saturday at approximately 12:45 a.m.

According to a report from Fox News, Baker had warrants out for felony charges of kidnapping, aggravated assault (disfigure), possession of a firearm during the commission of a crime, and misdemeanor charges of battery (Family Violence Act) and third-degree cruelty to children.

Details about his alleged crimes have not yet been publicly released.

The Muscogee County Sheriff’s Office was assisted during the arrest by the Drug, Gang, and Fugitive Unit and U.S. Marshals.

Fox reports that “the investigation was conducted in conjunction with the FBI, Cobb County Sheriff’s Office, Cobb County Police Department, Russell County Sheriff’s Office and Phenix City Police Department.”

Baker has run for multiple offices over the years, most recently losing a primary election for the Georgia House of Representatives on May 24, 2022.

The Atlanta Journal-Constitution reports, “Baker ran for mayor of Columbus three times, losing to Teresa Tomlinson in 2010, and dropping out of the race she later won in 2014. He finished in second place in 2018 coming about 6,000 votes short of the current mayor, Skip Henderson.”

“The Columbus native also attempted several bids for the Georgia House of Representatives. In 2008, he was defeated by state Rep. Calvin Smyre in the race for Georgia House District 132. Last year, he ran for Georgia House District 140 but lost to Rep. Teddy Reese in the Democratic primary election.”

Baker is also an activist whose website says that he has “produced and sponsored an entire month of Commercials promoting Black History” and founded “Buy-Back the Block Community Program; a program made up of young Black professionals investing in local projects and properties in South and East Columbus.”

A group of Christian prayer warriors will be attending SatanCon in Boston next week, an event being called the “largest Satanic gathering in history.”

The gathering will occur from April 28 – 30th, 2023, to celebrate the Satanic Temple’s tenth anniversary.

The Satanic Temple promises on its website that the convention will be “a weekend of blasphemy and remembrance in Boston.”

“This event is dedicated to Boston mayor Michelle Wu for her unconstitutional efforts to keep TST out of Boston’s public spaces,” the organization stated. “TST SatanCon 2023 will be in historic downtown Boston, Massachusetts from April 28th to April 30th, 2023, with the theme, ‘Hexennacht in Boston.’ Attendees will enjoy lectures and panels presented by our campaigns and congregations as well as evening entertainment and a Satanic Marketplace.”

According to a report from the Christian Post, regional leaders in Boston for Intercessors For America (IFA) say that “hundreds of believers from several denominations will come together in unity, not to pray the event away, but instead pray for revival to break out amongst the attendees in Jesus’ name.”

“I initially went to prayer with a preconceived idea that God would want this to be prayed away. It was following this assumption that I was awakened through the night with a clear sense of ‘This is My harvest field,'” one of the organization’s leaders, Suzie MacAskill, told the Post.

“Since truly seeking God’s will for this event, and not coming with my own ideas, I believe I’ve been able to more clearly hear of His love for those who are lost and His strategy for praying for this event,” she added.

IFA Boston co-leader Lynn MacAskill said, “several people [are] receiving words and visions about the angel armies surrounding Boston.”

“Suzie and I have only just come to understand that God has been preparing us for this for some time, which is very comforting as we get close to going into the battle zone in days.”

‘My personal sense is that God is doing something new, something powerful, something wonderful, and He is calling His bride to unity as He does this,” McAskill added. “We are seeing intercessors and watchmen joining with us from all over Massachusetts, New England and this nation to see what the enemy intended for evil used by God for His good and mighty purposes.”

“We pray for a harvest of lost souls to take place as we have never seen before,” she added.

The Satanic Temple made headlines last year for seeking a court declaration to allow abortions for their Texas members, claiming that the laws violate their “religious freedom” to perform “abortion rituals.”

3 Men Sentenced For White Supremacist Terror Plot To Disrupt Power Grid, Trigger Race War

Two men were sentenced in federal court today to crimes related to a scheme to attack power grids in the United States in furtherance white supremacy.

Christopher Brenner Cook, 20, of Columbus, Ohio, and Jonathan Allen Frost, 24, of Katy, Texas, and West Lafayette, Indiana, each pleaded guilty to one count of conspiring to provide material support to terrorists. Cook was sentenced was sentenced to 92 months in prison and Frost was sentenced to 60 months in prison. Jackson Matthew Sawall, 22, of Oshkosh, Wisconsin, was also charged and pleaded guilty in February 2022 in connection with the scheme and will be sentenced at a later date.

“These defendants plotted armed attacks against energy facilities to stoke division in furtherance of white supremacist ideology and now they are being held accountable,” said Assistant Attorney General Matthew G. Olsen of the Justice Department’s National Security Division. “The Justice Department will not tolerate the use of violence to advance any extremist ideology and we remain determined to protect our communities from such hateful acts of terror.”

“At the root of every terrorist plot – whether foreign or domestic – is hate,” said U.S. Attorney Kenneth L. Parker for the Southern District of Ohio. “As a society, we must be vigilant against online radicalization, which is a powerful tool used by extremists to recruit both juveniles and adults.”

“The defendants in this case conspired to provide material support to terrorism by putting plans in place to damage America’s infrastructure, motivated by their adherence to racially or ethnically motivated violent extremist ideology,” said Assistant Director Robert R. Wells of the FBI’s Counterterrorism Division. “When individuals move from espousing ideas to planning or committing acts of violence, the FBI will investigate and take action to disrupt their plans. Today’s sentencing demonstrates the commitment we have to working with our partners to bring violent extremists to justice and to protect our communities.”

According to court documents, in fall 2019, Frost and Cook met in an online chat group. Frost shared the idea of attacking a power grid with Cook, and within weeks, the two began efforts to recruit others to join in their plan.

As part of the recruitment process, Cook circulated a book list of readings that promoted the ideology of white supremacy and Neo-Nazism. By late 2019, Sawall – a friend of Cook’s – joined the conspiracy and assisted Cook with online recruitment efforts, operational security and organization.

As part of the conspiracy, each defendant was assigned a substation in a different region of the United States. The plan was to attack the substations, or power grids, with powerful rifles. The defendants believed their plan would cost the government millions of dollars and cause unrest for Americans in the region. They had conversations about how the possibility of the power being out for many months could cause war, even a race war, and induce the next Great Depression.

In February 2020, the co-conspirators met in Columbus, Ohio, to further discuss their plot. Frost provided Cook with an AR-47 and the two took the rifle to a shooting range to train.
