A Second Shooting Believed To Be Related To The First In Jasper, Texas

Sheriff Mitchel Newman told 12News there could have been anywhere from 200 to 220 teenagers at the party. Officials believe students at the party were there from Jasper and Kirbyville.

The second shooting happened at a red light and went down Highway 190 toward Newton. Officer Cherry told 12News that a white Sedan seen at the after-prom party and was involved in the second shooting.

The Sedan was stopped by Texas Department of Public Safety troopers and is being processed.

The shootings are currently under investigation. Deputies are looking for several "persons of interest," according to Jasper County Chief Deputy Scott Duncan.
