If she wasn't being rude, she could be lonely or just simply kind. Kindness costs nothing and is sometimes a rare thing. I don't like to eat alone at any food establishment so I go through drive-thrus and take it home. I will say being asked my name for food order irritates me so I just give a fake name. I understand not enjoying a social situation with strangers.
