Wait who settled with whom?
Isn't it usually the defendant that's understood and referenced when stating a lawsuit was settled?
I get that obviously, "both" settled but generally speaking when referring to a case, when someone says, "He" settled out of court. the "He" is the defendant, no?
So, in this case, wasn't it Fox who settled? Or do I have it backwards?
Because, it wouldn't make sense that as part of the agreement (of settling) that Fox would be the one to fork-out some money and also let some people go (like the rumored Judge and Maria release) if they were the plaintiff.
