27 Colorado Dems vote AGAINST making indecent exposure to minors a felony
"These types of laws have been used to ban drag shows," said Leslie Herod.
On Saturday, the Colorado House of Representatives voted on HB23-1135, a bill introduced to increase the severity of indecent exposure in front of a minor to a class 6 felony, and 27 Democrats voted against the bill, with one saying she was concerned it would lead to the ban of drag shows.
State Representative Leslie Herod said, "These types of laws have been used to ban drag shows, to target individuals who use the restroom of the sex that they identify with—a public restroom—to charge them with felony charges. I am very concerned about the attacks against the transgender community that are happening across the country."

Brutal twister picks up car and hurls it across road - as the
tornado cuts devastating swathe through Palm Beach in Florida

A powerful tornado touched down in Palm Beach on Saturday evening, leaving around 3,300 without power, a car being thrown across a roadway, and a multiple-car pileup in an apartment complex parking lot.
The twister touched down in North Palm Beach around 5pm.
Strong winds proved difficult for drivers, stalling them on the highway as the tornado rolled through.
A video taken in another car shows red taillights as drivers paused their journeys, only for the wind to catch a small vehicle, lifting it up and tossing it across the roadway. The car can be seen rolling lengthwise twice before settling. Debris covered the street, being whipped in the wind, as the passengers filming the event expressed shock.
The tornado also hit a Palm Beach Gardens apartment complex, causing a four-car pileup in the parking lot and several other cars to be pushed into each other. Several vehicles were left askew in their spaces after the storm rolled through.
