Do Anons here have any suggestions for free software that I should use to pull a clip out of video in MP4 format?

 

I've downloaded the thing. I even collected captioned screenshots showing the part that I want to quote. Then, yesterday, as I was looking for advice on how to make a collage, someone suggested that I pop the photos into PowerPoint and make a video of the collection of photos with captions.

 

I used to use a version of PowerPoint that did NOT have the ability to create a video, so it was good to discover that feature. If necessary that is the video that I'll share with you guys.

 

But it led me full circle, too, and got me wondering why I don't just post a clip from the video that someone sent to me so y'all can judge the content for yourselves. Which leads me to today's question:

 

Do Anons here have any suggestions for free software that I should use to pull a clip out of video in MP4 format?
