The only reason they even allowed this movie to be made and released was to drive home the narrative that no matter how bad it/they fuq up…life goes on and there will still be a system (theirs). Very little in the ay of musical score but a good movie nontheless-it's basically a caracature of Lehman and the CEO of Lehman Bros' was Dick Fuld-cap #3 who placed all his assets in the wife's name at the end of 2007… and the CEO at 'The Firm' in this movie is named Tuld.

Big Short is unwatchable as a movie read the book as whoever cast those actors in those main roles-except Burry, the bald munee guy at Scion and the partner at Moran Stanley- those are spot on the rest…meh and are completely unconvincing (the main characters).

If you want a good book to read (it's dry) read 'Flash Boys' by same author as Big Short-it's all about the rise of High-Frequency Trading and it's testing phase in the Options markets (saw some of this being done at the time in 2006 along with the buy at Royal Bank of Canada referenced in this book)

Ask/Bids 'magically' changed as soon as an order placed so you had to place an order to buy 1 in order to sell 10-15 if you wanted your price.
