>You know jack fucking shit asshat. MTG pisses off the right people. I like her. So does our POTUS.

It's a common complaint from weak people, especially men, because they feel inferior to a short woman who can do more pushups than them. She can do more pushups than me, for sure, but I am fat. At least I am taller than she is. (self-pat on back, thanks dad)

swry, can't read chicken scratch. but point taken. he did say he was a drug addict. adult drug addicts tend to get into way more trouble than "innocent" youthful substance experimentation as addiction to satisfying immediate body needs tends to be a way of life rather than a weekend fiesta. let's see where this goes. While some of these people have done horrible things, there's got to be a group that realize that truth, redemption, and fixing the world are worth the consequences of eternal damnation, regardless of the costs in this life. Many, and perhaps the ones who were forcibly coerced, may be working toward a group confession.

>God said "God becomes man"

At the end, you're left with faith. There is no proof that doesn't root itself in circular reasoning, e.g. the bible is true because the bible says the bible is true.

God becomes Man; Man becomes God. Okโ€ฆbut what does that mean. Even with that idea, there are multiple interpretations. Some are from outside Christianity, e.g. Messianic Judaism, to various beliefs across Christianity, i.e. literal interpretations of the bible to coptic/gnostic/mystical beliefs that men can become christ by developing spiritual maturity. And all that without even getting into the proof, or lack thereof, of a historical jesus.

Unless there is some new information that isn't yet discovered or publicly released, there isn't currently any truth to the jesus story, much less a literal interpretation of the bible. There is, however, hoards of proof about context and subcontext about the writing of narrative and oral tradition, particularly the techniques in jewish tradition. While I would support that most of it is "truthful", it is not without bias, and much of it is certainly not proven "true". For example, the psalms of david are attributed to King david, but they are most likely a compendium of writings of the times, some perhaps by scribes of david, likely even financed by benefactors and patrons of the time.

>apologetics

crank theories worse than CRT.

I don't have an issue with any historical Jesus or not. I don't think spiritual maturity or "salvation" depends on it. Certainly lots of people believe in jesus but are very limited spiritually. Christ, in even the broadest non-traditional understanding, is the target. That's enough for me. Salvation dependent on belief in a literal and historic jesus being historical or as literally God on earth is limited. It's like hiding a ball behind your back from a small child. when they are very young, they dont have enough cognitive development to conceptualize that something exists beyond their perception. After a couple years, they can understand that it is behind you. Same thing with spirituality. literal dogmatic beliefs tend not to be the mature one, albethey faithful one.
