Last week I went into my office, where there's a bunch of offices (ones mine) surrounding a bull pit (bunch of cubicles with all the assistants/lower levels etc).. and since I rarely attend and usually work from home, I'm usually met with some suck-uppery, some high fives, some jokes about my lack of attendance, and some howyadoins..

I entered and said, "Folks, Today I'm seven days sober" and the anticipated awkwardness set in (its a drinking culture) and the anticipated chiming in from one person "w-well, good for you man"

and I turned to him and said "Seriously? you're gonna be snippy? Making fun of me for being 7 days sober.. Jesus Christ, how about some fucking sympathy?! just like a little "oh jee i'm sorry to hear that dude, I hope you get to drink again soon" " and walked into my office.. There was about 15 seconds of quiet and murmurs and then everyone laughed.. It was great. (I had planned it)

kek.. I'm sympathetic to christians and muslims, and while I love to associate with them, I don't want to be considered one of them, because I see those titles as corrupted and confusing.. def not some kind of moloch worshipper..

but damn, you are posting that which has been said for millennia and exposed time & time again as naive.. God is like light, you are given freewill, you can choose to stand in the shadows hidden from His light, but you will reap what you sow in the dark. I hope you find God, perhaps a different approach is in order if you've been jaded by the non-profit incorporated form of religion. Go be your own shaman and find God. He's not a nanny or a policeman or anything.. not even a person.. The natural order is not complicit in the actions of those who would oppose it.
