Many so called Anon's want a Hero. Desperately need to glom onto someone, anyone, who appears to have the same goals as them, even IF just for a moment. Forgetting all the other times that person showed them why they shouldn't be trusted.
Anyone who is in the lead role they AGREED to, as part of [THEIR] Deal, is just another Actor in the play. Easy to get sucked into the narrative that seems to align to a personal vision.
