Bit of a history nut here, intrigued by the JFKJr discussion.
Had an old girlfriend who went to Brown and used to see him at parties there.
There's such a curse on that family.
Joe Jr. (pic) was handsome and had been groomed for the presidency by his father, but was killed participating in top-secret Operation Aphrodite on August 12, 1944.

Joe Sr. then turned his attention to Jack. At the same time, Kennedy sibling Kathleen "Kick" had met and married William "Billy" Cavendish, an aristocrat who was the heir to be 10th Duke of Devonshire.
Their story is remarkable enough on its own:

The timing of this is almost unbelievable, just a few months after Billy and Kick married in May 1944.
"Four months later, on 9 September 1944, Hartington was killed in action[1] by a sniper in Belgium[10] while serving during World War II as a Major in the Coldstream Guards.[11] He was killed one month after his brother-in-law, Joseph Kennedy Jr., was also killed in action.[1]"

"Soon Kick was in love again — with Peter Fitzwilliam. Like Billy, he was Protestant and rich. He was also a playboy, a gambler . . . and married.
“When you’ve seen so much tragedy during the war, it makes you feel that you’d better live for the moment,” muses McTaggart, whose book was just optioned for a film.
“Her decisions were informed by her own moral compass, not that of her parents or society.”
“Fitzwilliam had a lot of money and was a lot of fun,” she continues. “I think the chances of him being faithful to her were zero.”
Kick never did find out. En route to meeting her father in France, hoping for his blessing, they boarded a plane, planning to stop over for what the Brits call “a dirty weekend” on the Riviera. There were storms that day, but Fitzwilliam brooked no delay. Their plane crashed in the mountains, killing all aboard.
Only Kick’s father, Joseph, who was in Europe at the time, attended her funeral."
So… Joe Jr., Kick, Jack, Bobby, and then Jack Jr.
That's just too damn much for one family.
