Saying the Hare Krishna Mantra with Krishna first is for Bhakti (devotion).
Saying the Hare Krishna Mantra with Rama first (the Hare Rama Mantra) is for Moksha (liberation).
I recommend pronouncing the Hare Rama Mantra before starting (or taking up) an important happening or event.
Doing this makes it alive, and purifies it.
It makes God present there.
Remember the Hare Rama mantra.
