In the past couple months I have witnessed an influx of hopeless into my area. This is a tourist spot. This is one of the main "industries" here. The filth/debris is now being allowed to pile up. The mental illness is palpable. I noticed yesterday that self-check, in one market, out is now wanting patrons to set up digital accounts before checking out. My bank moved 15 miles into the main 15 minute city.
One of the nicest areas ever, is being transformed into a nightmare. When the homeless, that are not mentally ill, but imported fighters decide to take over an area, I don't know what is going to happen. People are fuckingly still wearing their ridiculous masks. They aren't going to fight.

People got use to ordering online when everything was closed down.
MUCH cheaper to buy online with free shipping rather than drive to a store front to shop. Real stores prices have to be higher to make a profit.
Amazon and others can make a penny on each sale and still make a profit.

It is truly amazing how giving people free drugs and paraphernalia to use drugs, didn't help curb the use of drugs. Also, allowing them to live on the streets and provide them with food didn't help.
