Interesting connection

What’s interesting about Mike Morell’s dirty letter to get Joe Biden elected is that they have done this in the past. Morell wrote an email to his co-signatories to congratulate them for successfully getting the letter published.

“I just want to thank everyone for signing the letter on the Hunter Biden emails,” he wrote.“I think this is the most important election since 1860 and 1864when the very existence of the country was on the ballot.

The election of 1860 is when Abraham Lincoln was voted into office. However that is NOT what Morell was referring to in his email. He was referring to the Southern Democratic Party ticket, supported by President Buchanan, of then VP John C. Breckinridge for Pres and Sen. Joseph Lane for VP. (It was all about getting their puppet into office for which they failed.)

In demand more for his legal expertise than his military training, Breckenridge was named as assistant counsel for Gideon Johnson Pillow during a court of inquiry initiated against him by Winfield Scott.Seeking to derail Scott's presidential ambitions, Pillow and his supporters composed and published letters that lauded Pillow, not Scott, for the American victories at Contreras and Churubusco. To hide his involvement, Pillow convinced a subordinate to take credit for the letter he wrote.

The quarrel began when Scott asked Pillow to revise his exaggerated battle reports in which Pillow took credit for the American victories at the Battles of Contreras and Churubusco, but Pillow refused.

Although Pillow had performed reasonably well despite some mistakes in troop dispositions, the battles were still won by troops under the overall command of Scott.

Then, an anonymous letter—actually written by Pillow—published in the New Orleans Delta on September 10, 1847, and signed "Leonidas", wrongfully credited Pillow with the victories at Contreras, including the plan of battle and command of all the forces engaged, and Churubusco.

When Pillow's intrigue was exposed, he was arrested by Scott and held for court-martial for insubordination and violating regulations, along with Colonel James Duncan and Brigadier General William J. Worth.

These clowns never think of anything original do they. Wash, rinse, repeat.
