Pretty sure they are screening for bad guys and legit asylum seekers, then taking the leftovers to the Brownsville airport "to be flown all over the USA"
-then they get sardined into Mexican military transport flights back south of the border.
I have seen the Mexican military transport flights on ADSB from Brownsville, back deep into Mexico. They switch off a couple hundred miles south of the border.
